(CNN) – Sarah Palin's camp is denying claims she's is snubbing talk show host Oprah Winfrey, telling CNN Monday the decision was "nothing personal" - the Alaska governor has just been flooded with so many media requests she simply hasn't had the time to sit down with the daytime talk show icon.
“The governor was invited to appear. She was also invited to appear on Letterman, Leno, Stephanopoulos, The Daily Show. She passed on a vast majority of these requests," Bill McAllister, Palin's communications director and press secretary.
"We’re up to about 250 requests for interviews and appearances and so on. It’s worldwide, there’s still a tremendous amount of interest. It’s nothing personal about Oprah, it’s just that she turned down the vast majority of these requests."
A Palin appearance at a later date is still possible, said McAllister: “I’m not aware that it’s been ruled out.”
Winfrey - the popular daytime talk show host and strong Barack Obama supporter - seemed to suggest last week that Palin was deliberately avoiding her show.
"I said I would be happy to talk to Sarah Palin when the election was over…" she said in an interview with the entertainment show Extra. "I went and tried to talk to Sarah Palin and instead she talked to Greta [Van Susteren]. She talked to Matt [Lauer]. She talked to Larry [King]. But she didn't talk to me.”
Winfrey’s comments came in response to rumors she'd refused to offer an invitation to the former vice presidential candidate.

Find out if Richard Simmons is available, he's more likeable and entertaining.
Palin??Who?? Who cares. We don't need a beauty queen in the white house. In four years she will be facing challenges presented by her downs child. Her children need her energy. She needs to stay home and take care of the children she has brought into the world and forget about politics.

What's Oprah's problem? All she needs to do is Ask the Universe for Sarah to be on her show, Feel and Behave as if Sarah is coming, and Be Open to receiving her.

Why should Sarah accept?? Oprah is not a God, she is just a woman who happened to be in the right place at the right time, and has made her fortune from it. She's really not that talented. Being offered a spot on Oprah is not something everyone craves – I would certainly not want to be in her audience – all of them make complete fools of themselves. Sarah should do what SHE wants to do, not follow the pathetic crowd.

They have see, held, touched, examined the official certification of birth. He was born in Hawaii. He is a US citizen. He is the President-elect. And on Jan. 20, 2009 – HE WILL BE PRESIDENT of all of us. We've had to suffer during the past 8 years...TAG...YOU'RE IT! But I think we're all going to be pleasantly surprised and excited for the future.

By the way, for the blogger who said she's the most popular governor in the states, you better check your rating figures. Her popularity has fallen big time in Alaska. I think the Alaskans got a good look at the intelligence level of their governor when she was on the ticket for vice president.

So she wasn't qualified to be VP...well, let me ask you something. If someone asked you to be the VIce President...would you say no? Of course not, you'd say how much can I learn in x amount of time...lol. So, she doesn't want to be on Oprah...okay...let them snub each other until the cows come home...aren't we in a recession? Palin misjudges the opportunities for herself by not appearing on Oprah's show. However, Palin's advisors are smart to wait until they are sure that she can answer questions intelligently before letting her appear on "Oprah".
