Rove vows to 'name names'

Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book.
Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book.

(CNN) – Enemies of President Bush take heed: Karl Rove is set to name names.

The man widely credited with Bush's two presidential victories says his new book will include an accounting of those in Washington who never accepted the president as a legitimate commander-in-chief.

"I've got behind-the-scenes episodes that are going to show how unreceiving they were of this man as president of the United States," Rove told Cox News in an interview published Sunday. "I'm going to name names and show examples."

Rove signed a deal with publishing giant Simon & Schuster last year, reported be worth over $1.5 million.

In the wide-ranging interview, Rove also suggested the criticisms the president and his aides took were partly because they were not part of the Washington establishment.

"You'll notice there was outrage when it was thought that I was the person behind outing Valerie Plame. And then when it came out that it was the sainted [Deputy Secretary of State] Richard Armitage, there was no interest," Rove said. "I don't remember seeing anybody camped out on his doorstep like they were camped out on mine. [It's]because he was part of the acceptable culture of Washington, and I was not. I was one of those Texans who came up. He was one of those perpetual I'll-scratch-your-back-if-you'll-scratch-mine Washington leakers. "

Who really cares anymore? Roves strategy has failed. Yes, he "made" GW Bush president just like he stated he would – but GW Bush also has the lowest approval rating ever. Is that an accomplishment to be proud of? I would think others would run from Roves advice rather than heeding it. His "vision" has brought this country to it's knees.

Will he name me, because I don't think Bush is a legitimate nor competent president. As a matter of fact I do believe he makes Herbert Hoover look like the Messiah.

Is this guy joking or what. Preside Goerge W. Bush was very much a part of the Washington establishment. For crying out loud, his father was once the POTUS. What a nut case...!!!

Karl Rove claiming that he's not a "Washington Insider" is like the Pope claiming he doesn't believe in god.

Who cares? The only thing more boring than Rove's book will be (the worst president in history) GW's biography.

And Rove is what, blameless in the Plame incident, had nothing to do with the John Yue "the Executive Branch is KIng" mentality, knew nothing about the intelligence lies told to Colin Powell prior to his UN testimony, did not approve wholeheartedly of torture, illegal wiretapping, and is the poster boy for Washington outsiders? This is so typical of what is coming from the Bush White House now...absolutely no remorse, no responsibility for anything they did, legally or not, that has ruined this democracy, and of course, anything that MAY HAVE gone wrong is someone else's fault. Lock 'em both up! They are not only criminals, but insane.

Put this bloated criminal in jail already. Only in America can you be a top level lawless animal like this pig and get away with it. The fact that he can ignore subpoena's to appear in court without repercussion... and still make money spewing his trash is insane. If any one of us "regular citizens" did 1% of the things this thing has done in his last 8 years, we would be spending time in a small concrete enclosure. It's a travesty Rove and his fellow crime family members are immune from prosecution.
    PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG.

So he's publishing a book about smart people! Good for him!
It's too bad so many of us will not be able to BUY the book due to his president's handling of our affairs.

And just who REALLY cares?? Yawn – millions of Americans never accepted Bush as the legitimate commander in chief – Can't wait for the man to ride into the sunset, hopefully we'll never hear from him or Sarah Palin ever again...

Rove is a disgrace and an unpatriotic hypocrite. He should be arrested and hauled off the federal prison. FYI...Bush was not a legitimate President.

Is anybody supposed to be shocked that some people thought Bush and his crew were not worthy of the Presidency, nor up to the job?

I think history shows that we were right. Sorry, Karl.
