Rove vows to 'name names'

Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book.
Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book.

(CNN) – Enemies of President Bush take heed: Karl Rove is set to name names.

The man widely credited with Bush's two presidential victories says his new book will include an accounting of those in Washington who never accepted the president as a legitimate commander-in-chief.

"I've got behind-the-scenes episodes that are going to show how unreceiving they were of this man as president of the United States," Rove told Cox News in an interview published Sunday. "I'm going to name names and show examples."

Rove signed a deal with publishing giant Simon & Schuster last year, reported be worth over $1.5 million.

In the wide-ranging interview, Rove also suggested the criticisms the president and his aides took were partly because they were not part of the Washington establishment.

"You'll notice there was outrage when it was thought that I was the person behind outing Valerie Plame. And then when it came out that it was the sainted [Deputy Secretary of State] Richard Armitage, there was no interest," Rove said. "I don't remember seeing anybody camped out on his doorstep like they were camped out on mine. [It's]because he was part of the acceptable culture of Washington, and I was not. I was one of those Texans who came up. He was one of those perpetual I'll-scratch-your-back-if-you'll-scratch-mine Washington leakers. "

Mr. Rove, your Huckleberry Clown Dubya has been a failure his entire adult life, which can be proven by the records which are available and not permanently sealed in his Papa's vault, or by what the world has witnessed these past 8 years. It was his Papa and you, who got him the Supreme Court appointment, followed by the election fiasco in 04. Give me a break. The only ones who should be worried are the pathetic lying patsies who covered up for this moron for 8 years. In just a few short weeks if Dubya does not pardon his entire administration, the military and the republican party, let the lawsuits begin.

Karl Rove is not worthy of the bile spewed in his direction. He is simply a very intelligent man who happens to have in that mind of his detailed statistics on how every district in the country is going to vote. And he was able to leverage that in order to effectively win two campaigns.

He does NOT deserve the nastyness he recieves.

And it is deplorable that people in washingtion do not accept a twice elected - and winner of a completely acceptable reelection by the way - as commander in chief, regardless of ones' political affiliations. The president is the president, and the office demands respect, no matter how much blind hatred you have for the person in the chair.

    Go ahead, Karl my boy!
Put me at the top of the list...the way I figure, I was ahead of the curve and feeling pretty smug when my conservative brothers started criticizing Bush, after busting my chops for 6 years!

I don't think his belly aching is going to get my traction. Washington didn't accept Bush? Well guess what, neither does over half of America.

Well, it looks like to me it will be a name book, child's play and finger pointing. If you ask me, they will point a finger, only to have it pointed right back at them. I hope Karl includes himself in the book. I am not too certain that any of them are excluded in trashing one another at some point.

Maybe all these people need to get a real job and pay like the rest of us do. Maybe they would think a little differently than they do now...sort of like they all forgot where they come from.

One is no more better than the next when it comes to politics!

Bush was elected in 2000 by five Republican political hacks on the Supreme Court. He was Ronald Reagan's farewell gift to the nation. There is no doubt that he was legitimately elected to the Presidency in 2004, so the voters - all fools - who voted for him ratified Bush's seizure of the Presidency in the 2000 coup d'etat.

Rove may have had his feelings hurt by those who questioned his boss's legitimacy, Rove and his gang of political thugs denied anyone's legitimacy but their own. Rove and his ilk will never, alas, go to jail. Their sentence will be a lifetime of well-deserved contempt.

It would be refreshing if he could name JUST ONE name who will take responsibility for the systemic fraud, deliberate deception, poor judgment, incompetence, self-dealing, withholding of information, and unabashed propaganda that have been the hallmarks of the failed Bush/Cheney coup. Judging from Turd Blossom's (Bush's nickname for Rove, showing some rare insight!) remarks, he will continue to deny his own culpability, and the damage they've inflicted on America's reputation and the rest of the civilized world, all the way to his grave. Not that I would expect any less from this conniving weasel.

    LOSER!

So what if they didn't approve of him when he got into office, they just knew a bad thing when they saw it – they should be commended for being psychic.

Karl Rove is responsible for some of the most disgusting political tactics our country had ever known, and have now become common place. May he receive his "just rewards" in the end!

Who cares? They are all crooks. Have you ever seen or heard of a poor politician AFTER he/she leaves office? They are all so full of crap it makes one want to puke. Karl Rove is just another one of those political idiots after big bucks since his "baby boy" is not in the White House after January 2009. Phooey on him!

Big deal. That still doesn't make the President competent. All it continues to show it that Rove and "the boys" were also incompetent. Blaming the Washington crowd for their troubles is cowardice. I can't wait to ignore this book.

Rove needs to face reality....the reason they were never accepted as "legitimate" is because the American people were very aware that the election(s) were stolen.....besides that, Bush is a dolt. Gotta agree with Craig from Pennsylvania....it's gonna be a long book if he names EVERYONE that didn't like Bush.

You don't have to pay a Rove a dime. Here's my name, for free:

I, Richard F. Xaver, never accepted George Bush as a legitimate commander-in-chief.
