Rove vows to 'name names'

Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book.
Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book.

(CNN) – Enemies of President Bush take heed: Karl Rove is set to name names.

The man widely credited with Bush's two presidential victories says his new book will include an accounting of those in Washington who never accepted the president as a legitimate commander-in-chief.

"I've got behind-the-scenes episodes that are going to show how unreceiving they were of this man as president of the United States," Rove told Cox News in an interview published Sunday. "I'm going to name names and show examples."

Rove signed a deal with publishing giant Simon & Schuster last year, reported be worth over $1.5 million.

In the wide-ranging interview, Rove also suggested the criticisms the president and his aides took were partly because they were not part of the Washington establishment.

"You'll notice there was outrage when it was thought that I was the person behind outing Valerie Plame. And then when it came out that it was the sainted [Deputy Secretary of State] Richard Armitage, there was no interest," Rove said. "I don't remember seeing anybody camped out on his doorstep like they were camped out on mine. [It's]because he was part of the acceptable culture of Washington, and I was not. I was one of those Texans who came up. He was one of those perpetual I'll-scratch-your-back-if-you'll-scratch-mine Washington leakers. "

Kind of like calling the kettle black isn't it Karl? By the way, please add me to the list of names. I never have and never will accept "W" as the legitimate president of "my" United States of America. How can Bush and Rove sleep at night? Oh yeah. I forgot men without brains have no conscience.

The "unreceiving" people of President Bush?

I thought he was the great "Uniter" not divider?

How did he not unite them to support him?

Could it be his "circle of cronies" they did not believe in?

If that is the case be sure to put my name in the book and 86% of America that disapproved of the President.

For those waiting with bated breath for this book of excuses and whining – it doesn't matter who didn't like or work with bush/rove from the dem or indie sides – republicans had control of both Houses and the White House for many of Bush's years in office. They had it all and they screwed it up royally. Attempting to blame it on others just shows Rove's cowardice and immaturity, and your willingness to follow him over the cliff in your ignorance and lack of common sense.

If the Shrub would have won the election we would have recognized him, but he was appointed by the Supreme Court. Also, if he would have acted like the president of all the people I could have accepted him. What Bush has done to our country will take a lifetime to fix. We can only hope Obama gets us on the right path.

Rove is a national disgrace and he can add my name to his list. If there was any justice he'd be writing it from prison where he and Bush belong.

Let's give the poor baby a big wheel of cheese to go with that whine. This guy is an unrepentant criminal and is indicative of what's wrong with American politics. He's sniveling about naming names in order to create interest in his book. In other words, he's crying all the way to the bank. Quite frankly, those he names as being unable or unwilling to accept Dubya as a valid Commander In Chief will likely become instant heroes. Haven't they been proven right time and again?

There is only one true measure of Karl Rove's genius...G.W.B. was twice elected President of the United States.

    To those who criticize:

Al Gore and John Kerry were beat and will never run for office again. Thank Karl Rove for that.

Didn't Rove ignore a federal subpoena back in May for the whole Plame thing, leading to a contempt of court finding in July. Isn't that an arrestable offense? Shouldn't someone be taking him to jail? Why is he still allowed to walk around on the street? When did it happen that citizens can just choose to blatantly ignore the US Federal Justice system and nothing will happen to them?

He can add my name to the list. The Dixie Chicks said what I felt – I'm ashamed this man is from Texas. People owe them a long overdue apology for speaking the truth.

I can't wait to hear the names of those intelligent people, Karl.
On the other hand, a lot of people, me included, never thought Bush deserved to be president because he was 'appointed' by the Supremes. Wonder how the Supremes feel about their decision now? They certainly changed the course of American history...and not for the good.

Name Names huh? sounds like Mr. Rove needs to concentrate less on criticism and more on packing up his stuff. I truly believe that this man should be tried for war crimes along side the lot of the Bush Administration.

Corporate America STINKS!! ACUS has the perfect product for scanning your body, but no FDA is not letting this company go through. Instead of radiation and etc.. which costs 20K or somethign like that, this product can scan you for 3K, but FDA is not letting it through. How the hell are we suupposed to bring healtch cost down if the BIG CORPS are in charge of everything!!!!!!

FANTASTIC! Rove will "out" the unsung heroes of Washington, DC, the ones who knew Bush was an inadequate fraud and puppet of Rove and Cheney, and apparently stood up to them from within.

Write on, Karl! We need some new heroes.

But seriusly, Mr. Rove, how WERE we to accept the legitimacy of a trust fund baby who hardly ever held a real job and bobbled every opportunity ever handed to him while drinking himself into a stupor until the age of 40? How did the campaign expect ANY educated person to accept such a person as PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!?!? Your outrage is laughable.

Since when has this detestable pig had any right to cry foul? This man has sunken to the lowest levels of dirty tactics there are, while bringing an entirely new meaning to the word "scum". First of all, does he actually expect us to believe that he fully accepted and supported the democratic administration during the Clinton years? And second of all, does this repulsive slug actually think the country will do anything less than praise those who doubted Bush's abilities? His idiotic book will only amuse the brainwashed conservatives who actually believe that this man is morally admirable. The rest of us with brains will do little more than scoff at his transparent attempt to rewrite history, and turn his puppet into a great man (the core of the earth would sooner freeze over).

Take a hike, Karl. You're a washed up fool who has been exposed for the morally corrupt buffoon that you are. And please.....take your puppets with you. We are sick of looking at them.
