Rove vows to 'name names'

Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book.
Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book.

(CNN) – Enemies of President Bush take heed: Karl Rove is set to name names.

The man widely credited with Bush's two presidential victories says his new book will include an accounting of those in Washington who never accepted the president as a legitimate commander-in-chief.

"I've got behind-the-scenes episodes that are going to show how unreceiving they were of this man as president of the United States," Rove told Cox News in an interview published Sunday. "I'm going to name names and show examples."

Rove signed a deal with publishing giant Simon & Schuster last year, reported be worth over $1.5 million.

In the wide-ranging interview, Rove also suggested the criticisms the president and his aides took were partly because they were not part of the Washington establishment.

"You'll notice there was outrage when it was thought that I was the person behind outing Valerie Plame. And then when it came out that it was the sainted [Deputy Secretary of State] Richard Armitage, there was no interest," Rove said. "I don't remember seeing anybody camped out on his doorstep like they were camped out on mine. [It's]because he was part of the acceptable culture of Washington, and I was not. I was one of those Texans who came up. He was one of those perpetual I'll-scratch-your-back-if-you'll-scratch-mine Washington leakers. "

So let's start rewriting history, perhaps Katrina was just a rain shower, and Iraq had WMD's but Sadaam had them sent out of country before we got there, perhaps, it was Congress who was at fault, perhaps, George W. Bush was the most brilliant President we ever had, he was so smart people misunderstood him. perhaps.... NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Face the facts, the spin is over, even Palin has higher approval ratings than W.

When Rove names his names, will he do so under oath?

Will his list have any credibility if he's not?

David – President Bush WAS "duely elected" by winning the electoral college vote and this FACT was upheld by the nation's highest courts.

When you consider that Al Gore won the election and Bush stole it with the help of Katherine Harris and the right-wing Supreme court there will be people who would think that Bush's Presidency was Illegitimate. Duh?!? Count me in!

    ___________________________________________________

    Hey Dope,

Every recount of that election, (including those conducted after the election by news agencies) showed that George Bush won the election. It is only the kook left-wing idealogues like you who cannot admit the truth because it conflicts with your view of the world.

So...what is Rove saying? That those who "advised" Bush, (i.e., told him what to say, think, decide, etc.) told/advised him that way because they didn't like him?? Is Rove somehow using the internal Washington dislike for Bush as some sort of excuse for nearly ruining this country??

How about someone write a book about all the missed opportunities for indictments of top Bush administration officials (including Bush himself!) for deliberately lying and misleading the public for the past eight years!!!

Karl Rove threatening to reveal the names of people opposed to Bush is like Goring complaining that his soup wasn’t hot enough the day of his trail at Nuremberg.

Who cares now? To all the hateful liberals who say Bush wasn't elected in 2000, well, he was then in 2004. Get over it. Who cares about this also.

Where are all the tolerant, come together liberals. Seems as tho they hate themselves so much they try to pin their misery on issues they know nothing about.
Rove is cool. History will be the judge on Bush not a bunch of whiners.

I believe Armitage was a fall guy, not the real culprit. I think many ohers do too, and that Mr. Cheney was behind that stain on our leadership.

And if someone didn't genuflect before Mr. Bush upon entering the Whitehouse, perhaps it's because he came in all 'cowboy' and arrogant, when perhaps he should have acknowledged the fact that HE GOT FEWER VOTES THAN HIS OPPONENT!!

Go away, Mr. Rove, you are yesterday's bad news. There's a new sherrif in town.

Hey Karl- the reason why Bush's approval rating is the lowest in Amercian history is because he's a total moron. He started a war that had nothing to do with 9/11. Our economy is in the crapper. Everything is falling apart now because of Bush (and the Republican Congress). You cannot excuse stupid, Karl, no matter how you try!
