Rove vows to 'name names'

Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book.
Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book.

(CNN) – Enemies of President Bush take heed: Karl Rove is set to name names.

The man widely credited with Bush's two presidential victories says his new book will include an accounting of those in Washington who never accepted the president as a legitimate commander-in-chief.

"I've got behind-the-scenes episodes that are going to show how unreceiving they were of this man as president of the United States," Rove told Cox News in an interview published Sunday. "I'm going to name names and show examples."

Rove signed a deal with publishing giant Simon & Schuster last year, reported be worth over $1.5 million.

In the wide-ranging interview, Rove also suggested the criticisms the president and his aides took were partly because they were not part of the Washington establishment.

"You'll notice there was outrage when it was thought that I was the person behind outing Valerie Plame. And then when it came out that it was the sainted [Deputy Secretary of State] Richard Armitage, there was no interest," Rove said. "I don't remember seeing anybody camped out on his doorstep like they were camped out on mine. [It's]because he was part of the acceptable culture of Washington, and I was not. I was one of those Texans who came up. He was one of those perpetual I'll-scratch-your-back-if-you'll-scratch-mine Washington leakers. "

When is this guy going to go away? No one voted for him, just slink back to Texas and leave the rest of us to try and recover from the 8 years of damage you inflicted.

    Good riddance.

Not being accepted as legitimate is one of the prices you pay when you and your allies shut down the electoral process before it has been completed. Allowing a full recount of the Florida vote in 2000 would have provided legitimacy to whoever was declared the winner- and who, according to the subsequent Media Consortium Review of all ballots, would have been Al Gore.

Also, the reason the media didn't camp on Al Richardson's doorstep is that the big mystery they had been pursuing was solved when Richardson was identified as the source of the leak.

Go get 'em , Rove! We all know that the demonrats have done nothing and continue to do nothing because they are only interested in putting through their own agenda. Well, Americans kicked them out of office at the end of Clinton's presidence and we'll do the same in 4 years. Let's just hope that at least some of the democrat men can for once keep their pants on.

WOW, Please add my name to the list. I NEVER accepted either Bush and I don't accept their new world order.
As far as I am concerned, Rove, both Bushes are criminals.
They and their new world buddies are selling us down the tubes.

I'm fascinated that true idiots are still out there focused on the 2000 Florida election issue. Every newspaper and other organization that recounted, after the Supreme Court said enough is enough, and counted every hanging chad, etc. came to the same conclusion – that Bush had more votes than Gore. Talk about living in the past and maintaining an idiotic reason to call Bush an idiot and refuse to acknowledge that he is not a legitimate president. More idiotic is that you will have similar morons calling Obama illegitimate for the next 4 to 8 years because he is not a legitimate US citizen or something else.

Mr. Rove....We are reveling in the fact that you and your sordid ilk will, in just a few weeks more, be relegated to the pages of history. That is, the dark regrettable pages of the history we wish had never occured. But your disgusting ways, and those of your cohorts in crime, should serve as a lesson to our great nation: never let this happen again! We deserve better than all of you. This has been the most harmful, destructive, and hateful administration in the 57 years of my life. I just thank God and the voters(!)who are now allowing us to emerge from the cesspool of the Bush administration, take some deep cleansing breaths, and all come together to work with PRESIDENT OBAMA to rebuild this nation into the one we deserve it to be! Good riddance to YOU!! I hope you do some deep reflective thinking in the upcoming years.

What Karl’s doing is probably a good thing: pointing out that there are those who actually believe that everything would be so much better if everyone just agreed with those in power and dispensed with all the divisive alternatives.

Karl Rove is the Dr. Paul Joseph Goebbels of the Bush regime. He should be put on trial with Bush and the rest of their partners in crime.

You cannot re-write history, but Rove will try. Just look at the world today vs. 8 years ago and you see the real Bush legacy. If only 2000 would have been decided by the people vs. the Supreme Court. No Iraq War, No Bank Meltdown, No Katrina debacle, No Warrantless Wiretapping, No Cheney Energy Policy, No Bush Tax Cuts to the wealthy..........................

Why is it that every time I see Karl Rove's picture I think he looks like the Nazi guy from the first "Raiders of the Lost Ark" movie? The one that was there when they opened the ark and all **** broke loose.

  20. move on...

Please remember that almost half of the country doesn't like Obama as President either. I'm not claiming Bush did well in his second term, he clearly did not, but his re-election success was close to the same popular vote as Obama's victory and certainly higher than Clinton's.

Bush made many mistakes, Obama will as well. It always baffles me that people on the far left hope for the failure of the President unless he/she is their candidate. I didn't vote for Obama, but I do hope he does well for all of us.

It is sort of funny that Obama has made not significant changes, all of his appointments have been the old school Washington crew. I'm not saying that's bad, but it is funny since just like all politians the minute they're elected the campaign promises go out the window. He's no different.

People who resisted Bush's "leadership"?!? Let Rove name names. I pre-emptively nominate them as national heroes and only wish they'd resisted a heck of a lot harder than they apparently did.

Thank God America–we have somehow survived an 8 year long national nightmare. Hopefully, when our new president is inaugurated, and Bush's pardon power is revoked, some genuine patriots will start naming names and the indictments will start flowing. America needs to move forward, and it can start by putting Bush administration criminals like Rove behind bars.
