Rove vows to 'name names'

Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book.
Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book.

(CNN) – Enemies of President Bush take heed: Karl Rove is set to name names.

The man widely credited with Bush's two presidential victories says his new book will include an accounting of those in Washington who never accepted the president as a legitimate commander-in-chief.

"I've got behind-the-scenes episodes that are going to show how unreceiving they were of this man as president of the United States," Rove told Cox News in an interview published Sunday. "I'm going to name names and show examples."

Rove signed a deal with publishing giant Simon & Schuster last year, reported be worth over $1.5 million.

In the wide-ranging interview, Rove also suggested the criticisms the president and his aides took were partly because they were not part of the Washington establishment.

"You'll notice there was outrage when it was thought that I was the person behind outing Valerie Plame. And then when it came out that it was the sainted [Deputy Secretary of State] Richard Armitage, there was no interest," Rove said. "I don't remember seeing anybody camped out on his doorstep like they were camped out on mine. [It's]because he was part of the acceptable culture of Washington, and I was not. I was one of those Texans who came up. He was one of those perpetual I'll-scratch-your-back-if-you'll-scratch-mine Washington leakers. "

I knew KArl Rove would be upto something, when he gave up on the election and on the idea that McCain even remotely had a chance ot win.

Now, that he is scared to his wits, coz his pending case might be followed up on again, and he actually might be put behind bars, what does he do??? Point fingers at others, he did this she did that...

Too late Rove, your days of freedom are over!

Rove, Bush, Cheney, Palin, Rice, the list can go on...these are the names I don't want to hear anymore! Nor people I want to see or hear about anymore! Let them go away, far away.

I have a title for his book: Heros of the Truth.

The reason people were camped out on your doorstep, Karl, is because you and everything you stand for are roundly despised by anyone with half a brain and a love for the Constitution. Go back to Texas and shut up. Nobody wants to hear you whine.

Name the heroes Karl – tell us who never drank the Kool-Aid and bought in to you and your boss' BS. I'm counting on Sen. Boxer to be on that list. She's always struck me as pretty wise.

Hmmm/...wonder why Richard Armitage was "part of the acceptable culture of Washington and Rove was not?"
Wonder no longer...Karl Rove's new book of behind-the-scenes episodes and "naming names" is a good place to start to unravel this one. Perhaps he should heed the injunction "Do unto others...." and see the difference.

Why does Mr. Rove think it is pertinent to point fingers now? There was always a sense of illegitimacy to Bush's first election when he lost the popular vote. This has nothing to do with the ineptitude of his presidency and his lack of a positive legacy. Maybe it is time for Mr. Rove to go away too.

OOOH, how frightening that the fat toad is going to outline people who realized how inept HRH was thruout his 8 year reign?

I should think anyone mentioned in toadie's tome, should get a good citizen award! After all he Rove is still just padding his bank account like he whined McClealland was doing when he told the truth.

Karl Rove is nothing now. People see he was only good at dividing people, and did not know much about campaigning b eyond attack politics. Karl's name has been outed for so many things it's crazy. If he's going to name names then those people will probably be considered heroes for standing up to such an awful president. I bet Simon and Schuster regrets making that deal now. Rove is a self-important individual. I have no respect for him, and history will not, either.

Does anyone really want to hear what Karl Rove thinks or says anymore (except possibly Sean Hannity)? Go back to Texas and clear brush with your old boss. You are old news.

Am I missing something here? Karl Rove is whining because people have been picking on him and his buddy Bush? Karl Rove?

"We will f**k him. Do you hear me? We will f**k him. We will ruin him. Like no one has ever f**ked him." -to an aide about some political stratagem in some state that had gone awry and a political operative who had displeased him

    .. THAT Karl Rove?

......now we know exactly what Bill O'Reilly will be reading before he goes to bed....

This can only be a good thing for those who get named. Just in case Karl Rove didn't get the memo...not many people approve of Bush.

I would imagine Karl Rove still has some following that will read his book. I for one think that it's deplorable that this man hasn't served time for some of the deplorable things he has done.
