Rove vows to 'name names'

Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book.
Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book.

(CNN) – Enemies of President Bush take heed: Karl Rove is set to name names.

The man widely credited with Bush's two presidential victories says his new book will include an accounting of those in Washington who never accepted the president as a legitimate commander-in-chief.

"I've got behind-the-scenes episodes that are going to show how unreceiving they were of this man as president of the United States," Rove told Cox News in an interview published Sunday. "I'm going to name names and show examples."

Rove signed a deal with publishing giant Simon & Schuster last year, reported be worth over $1.5 million.

In the wide-ranging interview, Rove also suggested the criticisms the president and his aides took were partly because they were not part of the Washington establishment.

"You'll notice there was outrage when it was thought that I was the person behind outing Valerie Plame. And then when it came out that it was the sainted [Deputy Secretary of State] Richard Armitage, there was no interest," Rove said. "I don't remember seeing anybody camped out on his doorstep like they were camped out on mine. [It's]because he was part of the acceptable culture of Washington, and I was not. I was one of those Texans who came up. He was one of those perpetual I'll-scratch-your-back-if-you'll-scratch-mine Washington leakers. "

Don't we all pretty much agree Bush wasn't a legit commander in chief? Especially the first election he stole? If that's the case, Karl, add my name to your book!

I'm a little bit sad at how childish so many of the comments, here, are. Like Rove or not, he's an intelligent man with an interesting point. Our country was more divided then ever politically coming out of the actions and rhetoric of the Clinton era. And while Democrats and Republicans share responsibility for this, the press has shown extreme bias in their stance.

It just saddens me that instead of disagreeing with an individual, so many resort to spouting of a junior high playground.

    ya just gotta laugh...

naming names legitimizes the fact the the bush administration was a joke from day one... and those that had the courage to disrail or challenge kind dunderhead's administration– should be publicly hailed as heroes.

The vermin descended on Washington in 2001 and were set upon by the leftover vermin from the last Republican administrations. Who cares about naming rats as long as the exterminator is coming?

so it begins – the rove attempt to re-write history. Just like that slime ball kissinger. rove is going to show how bush wasn't accepted? Does he mean by the republicon majority in both houses that rubber stamped his entire agenda? Or does he mean after it became so painfully apparent that rove and bush and the entire crime syndicate they were part of was ruining America? rove is scum. If you give him print it just adds weight to his lies against the Untied States. And he was in part behind the outing of PLame, and a whole host of other crimes. Vermin.

I guess you all know that Bush stole the election because you heard it somewhere and kept repeating it until it became fact in your little minds. I would love for anyone to show some kind of evidence that Bush stole the election. 911 was an inside job too I guess.

People who are blinded by hatred of a person should not be given the time of day to comment on politics since it it evident that their grasp of issues is weak at best. (Being blinded by pure worship is just as bad, i.e. Obama).

People will read Rove's book and I doubt he is a "looser" or even a loser.

I hate to burst Mr. Rove's bubble, but I know plenty of people who do not believe, and have never believed that Bush was the man who won the 2000 election. So, I 'm pretty sure that there were those in Washington who didn't believe it either. He's going to 'name names'. So what? Name them; but what people really want to know is what he, and the rest of Bush's liars will never tell them. I really can't name all the things that I have heard people say they want the real answers to, but I know everything will be done by Bush, and his people to conceal the truth. So, name your names, but no one cares, because no one wants to listen to you lie anymore.

    Stephen,

Obama is a Constitutional Law scholar and professor, has 12 years' experience as a legislator, and presents a calm, thoughtful demeanor.

Bush is a cheerleader, an unsuccessful business man, and formar governor of a state in which the governor has no real duties.

Which of these men do you really think has more experience that might be useful in governing the USA?

Walter, et. all, Rove has been right on the money all the time in his analysis. You guys just don't want to hear it because you'd rather hear the fluff and stuff the Obamas are spinning.
It'll be interesting to see who you can blame when the Obama regime can't get anything done even though they own the house, senate and congress.

It'll all change for Obama. Rubber stamping media doesn't sell after a while. Witness today's bancpuptcy filing for the company that owns two liberal rags in Chicago and LA.
