Rove vows to 'name names'

Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book.
Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book.

(CNN) – Enemies of President Bush take heed: Karl Rove is set to name names.

The man widely credited with Bush's two presidential victories says his new book will include an accounting of those in Washington who never accepted the president as a legitimate commander-in-chief.

"I've got behind-the-scenes episodes that are going to show how unreceiving they were of this man as president of the United States," Rove told Cox News in an interview published Sunday. "I'm going to name names and show examples."

Rove signed a deal with publishing giant Simon & Schuster last year, reported be worth over $1.5 million.

In the wide-ranging interview, Rove also suggested the criticisms the president and his aides took were partly because they were not part of the Washington establishment.

"You'll notice there was outrage when it was thought that I was the person behind outing Valerie Plame. And then when it came out that it was the sainted [Deputy Secretary of State] Richard Armitage, there was no interest," Rove said. "I don't remember seeing anybody camped out on his doorstep like they were camped out on mine. [It's]because he was part of the acceptable culture of Washington, and I was not. I was one of those Texans who came up. He was one of those perpetual I'll-scratch-your-back-if-you'll-scratch-mine Washington leakers. "

It will be interesting but it won't matter, the same corrupt, clueless, one-worlders who refused to let the Bush administration stamp out Islamic terrorists and created the lowest ratings in Congressional history (yes that would be the Dems after they took control) are now in charge and led by a Alinsky-trained socialist who lies even to his own supporters and is lining his cabinet with centrists to hide his inevitable implementation of socialism

I have no pity for Karl Rove and his complaints about protesters. What he did was help to establish an evil entity in the world and to help him gain power enough to hold the entire planet hostage. There is no justification for that.

What a shame, the "Architect" is going to "name, names".
Shall we send him a crying towel or shall we name a special prosecutor to investigate Mr. Roves' directives over the last 8 + years as he goes on the offensive to protect his legacy and rear-end?
America deserves to know just how disingenuous, immoral and illegal Roves' public service has been. He should be ashamed of himself.
He is part of the leadership that is responsible for the debacle of the Bush/Cheney administration and thus should be held responsible. This isn't rhetoric, the damages are tangible and real. I believe his legacy will be closer to "brilliant buffoon".

Not only don't you know how to spell Florida but you also don't realize that the Chicago Tribune is a conservative paper, get your facts straight before spouting your mouth off.

Wow....that is simply unbelievable. This guy will do whatever it takes to stay relevant. Mr. Rove, America voted on November 4th, and clearly rejected you, and everything you stand for. So write your book if it makes you feel better, but being an angry texan "outsider" is a card that has been way over played. Bush failed, you failed, and the dynasty you tried to create will be judged by history as the worst administration ever.

Now get out of the way, and Let President Obama clean up your mess.

This is like Dr. Frankenstein blaming the villagers for the ugliness of his creation!! He thinks he still has credibility. Or, that he's relevant. What an idiotic ego!

Why do we still have to hear from Rove and his lies. The bush administration and Rove received the criticisms simple because of the lies and because of their breaking and bending the law. He can name all the names he wants, maybe when he finally testifies before congress. Oh, I forgot, he's not going to, just another example of him breaking or ignoring laws. Rove should find a cave to crawl into and never be heard from again, or maybe a jail cell.

I hope he names names, then I'll know whose hands I would like to shake and to whom to send donations for their next campaign.

Bush and Cheney have proven repeatedly that they have no caring for anyone but themselves and their own wallets and those of their friends, at the cost of thousands of lives.

Maybe he could bash some more veterans while claiming an AWOL drug addict is a hero! He is good at that.
How about you tell us all what traitors Max Cleland and John Kerry and all the other Vietnam vets are. Max only lost 3 limbs, would he only be a patriot if he lost all four?

Accountability: Like I said before, if W has never touched the budget or sign any policies into law, then yes, the failures and flaws of these past 8 years, do TRULY belong to Clinton. Yu see, the minute you mess with policies or budget, a XX trillion dollar economy and every little piece of cracks BECOME YOURS, when you become Prez. So, if anybody wants to be Prez, better have THREE brains.

Rove and Bush deserve all the negative attention that they get. The "boys" from Texas spent eight years bringing this country to our knees and they regret , nor take any blame for any of it. Rove can speak out about all the enemies of Bush that he wants to but the cold hard fact is that there is not enough paper to really make that list. Thank God that we have only until Jan. 20 left until this Bush "regime" is finally gone forever!! Miracles still happen

If he were really concerned in naming these people then why would he make into a book instead of just saying it (money)? That and who cares.
