Rove vows to 'name names'

Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book.
Rove says he will name his enemies in a new book.

(CNN) – Enemies of President Bush take heed: Karl Rove is set to name names.

The man widely credited with Bush's two presidential victories says his new book will include an accounting of those in Washington who never accepted the president as a legitimate commander-in-chief.

"I've got behind-the-scenes episodes that are going to show how unreceiving they were of this man as president of the United States," Rove told Cox News in an interview published Sunday. "I'm going to name names and show examples."

Rove signed a deal with publishing giant Simon & Schuster last year, reported be worth over $1.5 million.

In the wide-ranging interview, Rove also suggested the criticisms the president and his aides took were partly because they were not part of the Washington establishment.

"You'll notice there was outrage when it was thought that I was the person behind outing Valerie Plame. And then when it came out that it was the sainted [Deputy Secretary of State] Richard Armitage, there was no interest," Rove said. "I don't remember seeing anybody camped out on his doorstep like they were camped out on mine. [It's]because he was part of the acceptable culture of Washington, and I was not. I was one of those Texans who came up. He was one of those perpetual I'll-scratch-your-back-if-you'll-scratch-mine Washington leakers. "

Karl Rove is not one to cast stones, for he has been quite "unreceiving" to the Constitution, lawfulness, common decency and honesty. He ought to be in jail, not receiving 1.5 million dollars for a book of dubious truthfulness - if any at all.

Get a life Rove. Grow up and accept your missteps. You lured the country to follow a looser and now live with it.

Cox News? You almost have the name right! Just need to take the x off and add a couple more letters on the end.

As far as the article, so what. Since the end result of the 2000 came from the supreme court, some naturally didn't accept it. Some don't accept other decision such as row vs wade.

Truth is, he's just trying to cover his own rear for the crap that went on in this administration. Now he's trying to say the blunders that went on, with and without his pal Bush was because some didn't see Bush as their president. Give me a break.

Poor Karl. He will always be that fat kid who nobody liked – even though he was one of the most powerful men in the world. Turd-blossom is a fitting name for this turd, the President named him well.

Rove is just trying to sell more copies. If he truly does name any names in his new book, then I think those individuals should be lauded as heroes. Carl Rove is one of the most dispicable men on the face of the planet! His job is to perpetuate the negative and smear destroy in his way or of those who he allies himself with.

Someone get this guy a bag. A plastic bag. No respect for what this Rove says, as its all lie's anyway.
Bush should of resigned the day he stole the election in 2000.

Karl Rove needs to stop whining and shut up, and quite frankly why haven't we heard the last him? Now we know why he was so evil, his insecurity, phobias, lack of self worth and 'never feeling good enough' that made him do it.

    Give me a break!!

I failed to mention in my earlier comment that anyone named as an enemy of this pathetic excuse for an administration should wear that distinction like it is a Badge of Honor.

From Politico: "“The truth is that Mr. Bush, Mr. Cheney and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld had been chafing to attack Iraq before Sept. 11, 2001,” the Times wrote. "

The truth is, if you have never been in the trench, dodging bullets, and you have never suffered to see the loss of human life, you'll always want to go to war. I just watched WWII on the history channel and war is a horrible thing. WWiI is so horrible that new generations of world leaders, DARE never to engage in wars. Russia, China and the likes, have seen HELL and they dare not walk in it. War is only for the uneducated minds.

Go ahead, Carl. Name all the names you want. I'll be one of those who may send all of those who opposed Bush a Christmas card with a heart-felt "thank you."

How is bush not a washington insider? He was spoon fed his entire career thorugh the nepotence of his dad.

maybe people did not take bush seriously because he had no clue what he was doing and his first victory is still debateable.

There are MILLIONS of Americans that never accepted him as Comander and Chief or thier President! Should we name all of
    us, along with Rove's names?

Ah yes, and the co-conspirators begin to turn on each other. Mr. Rove, I would be VERY careful about who you name. You have a huge closet of things to hide, yourself. The teflon of the Bush administration is cracking. It won't be long before a great deal of explaining will have to be done, and with any luck at all you'll join a long list of presidential lackeys who have or are serving time...

    Touche' Karl.

Most people who read this blog and the rest of the MSM would never even know that it was Armitage and not you or Scooter Libby that outed Plame.

I wouldn't want to be a name on that list, because whether you love Karl Rove or hate him, this is a guy who knows how to achieve the results he wants.
