Pres. Bush told CNN Tuesday that he'd like to see his brother Jeb run for political office again.

WASHINGTON (CNN) – Jeb Bush for Senate? His famous older brother thinks so.

In an interview with CNN’s Senior Political Correspondent Candy Crowley, President Bush responded “yes” when asked whether his brother Jeb should run for the senate seat being vacated in 2010 by Republican Mel Martinez.

The president said he did not know if his brother, a popular former Florida governor, would ultimately run and had not discussed the prospect with the elder President Bush.

“I haven’t talked to my dad about whether or not he wants Jeb to run. First of all knowing my dad I bet he would say I want Jeb to do that which is best for him and then he would go on to say but if he chose to run he would be a great United States senator and he would be.”

President Bush also said he was “neutral” in next year’s Texas governor’s race which Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison will likely mount a tough Republican primary challenge against Governor Rick Perry.

Bwahahahaah.....sorry, but you've got to be kidding. Jeb (the vaguely competent Bush brother) lost his chances at continuing his political career right around 2004 when W. was re-elected. The only reason Jeb's career didn't sink down the toilet earlier is because it took about 5 years of W. for the other half of the country to realize what a buffoon W. is.

Why on Earth would we need another Bush? to rise the budget deficit even more beyond $10 trillion like his brother?(after BILL CLINTON erased the deficit in his terms and we actually had a SURPLUS in the budget) to mess up another hurricane crisis like Bush did with Katrina? to ignore intelligence prior to another terrorist attack like Bush did on 9/11? to invade other countries without justifications and cause another 1 million dead civilians and more than 4,000 dead American soldiers? to ignore & refuse Ground Zero volunteers after he promised medical services for them? to send soldiers off into the warzone without body armor or plated armor for their vehicles? to sell out to oil, construction, weapon and health insurance corporations like Bush did? to betray more CIA agents like Bush did with Valerie Plame? to let the Economy destroy itself with insuficient and inadecuate unregulation, pork barrel spending and wasting money like Bush did? to be the humiliation of this nation around the world? to wiretap the entire nation with the excuse of terrorism like Bush? NO! GO BACK TO THE HOLE YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY CAME FROM! GO BACK TO TEXAS AND NEVER COME BACK! TAKE ALL YOUR RIGHT WING NUT JOBS WITH YOU! You're family has caused more damage to the country than any other in US history!

He'll run and he'll win. Why? Despite his name, he was a popular governor of the state and people will always vote for someone that they are familiar with..especially if they have a good reputation. Landslide.

Jeb Bush is pretty popular here in Florida. He was elected governor twice by pretty good margins. I would never vote for him, but I could see him getting elected to be Senator.

I think the US public has had enough of the Bush dynasty.

Jeb is way to arrogant for the senate in any case. I saw how he operated as Govn. in FL. Private dining rooms in the middle of public cafeterias in government buildings is a bit much. Talk about elitist.

If Florida were to elect Jeb as their Senator, they would be getting exactly what they deserve. The residents of the sate of Florida are a bunch of hate-filled, hyporcitical, Bible banging bigots. Lets hope the entire state gets washed away in the next big hurricane and takes Bush and the rest of his ilk with it.
