WASHINGTON (CNN) – More than six weeks after voters headed to the polls, the final House race has been called in favor of the Democratic challenger in Virginia.

Tom Perriello has been certified as the winner in his race against Republican Rep. Virgil Goode. Perriello’s win means that Democrats will hold a 257-to-178 seat advantage over Republicans in the new Congress that will convene next month. Democrats picked up 21 seats in the 2008 election.

In the Senate, the close race in Minnesota between Al Franken and Republican Sen. Norm Coleman is still undecided. A state board convened this week to consider disputed ballots that will decide this contest.

I agree, Campbell Brown is like a broken record. Repeating the same questions over and over not for an answer seemly just keeping the bull moving. NOT SHOWING ANY CREATIVE ABILITY, INVESTIGATIVATIVE ABILITY OR THINKING!!!!!

WHAT A WASTE OF TIME.

Campbell Brown is a rabble rouser just like Lou Dobbs. If the officials say keep quiet, her deformed little pruney mouth just gets moreso.

She needs to stay home with her kids. She's crap for an analyst.

Good riddance to Virgil Goode! The fool deserved this defeat after his completely insensitive and hate-filled comments at Rep. Keith Ellison when the Minnesota Democrat decided to take his oath of office on the Koran (he is a Muslim) instead of the Bible. Let Virgil Goode just fade into obscurity where he belongs.

"Final congressional race resolved"
"the close race in Minnesota [. . .] is still undecided"

Uh…what?

By the time the state of Minnesota finishes counting it's votes the term for which the Senator would have been elected will have expired.
