WASHINGTON (CNN) – In an effort to clear the way for Sen. Hillary Clinton’s confirmation as secretary of state, CNN has learned that her husband’s foundation has reached a written agreement with the Obama-Biden transition team.

The five-page document states that former President Bill Clinton will not personally solicit funds for the Clinton Global Initiative, a high-profile annual gathering of the Clinton Foundation that solicits contributions from around the world in order to address global challenges like poverty, climate change, and global health issues. In the document, the foundation also agrees to separate the Clinton Global Initiative off from the rest of its operations and incorporate that initiative as a separate entity.

The foundation also agrees to seek review by State Department ethics officials of certain donations to its effort to fight HIV and AIDS throughout the world.

The agreement was turned over to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee by the Obama transition team Wednesday and obtained by CNN Thursday.

Why should Bill Clinton have to put anything in writing, those CROOKS from Chicago never put anything in writing, it is a shame that the Election was STOLEN from Hillary Clinton by a member of the Chicago Crooks and the Democratic Do Nothing superdelegates. What is this country coming to?

That depends on what the definition of "solicit" means. Bill is a lawyer you know, and big words like that are difficult. He doesn't even know what the meaning of "is" is.

To all the naysayers who seem to think we have been dupped once again: Why don't you let President Obama at least take the oath of office before you start ripping him a new one?
After the past eight years- things can only get better!
We will not all agreee on every Obama decision- I'm not at all happy with the Warren invocation-but I'M not being inaugurated! I am a PROUD supporter of Barack Obama, and I think he's looking at trying to end the divisions that so engulf our Nation.
Give the man a chance! King george had plenty of them!

And this goes for most of you...

When you contribute as much to this Country and the World as the Clintons have their whole lives, maybe then the rest of us won't need their sacrifice and efforts.
    Get to work!
