WASHINGTON (CNN) – After being thrust into the national spotlight during the presidential campaign, Alaska teenager Levi Johnston and his family are once again back in the headlines. His mother, Sherry Johnston, was arrested Thursday on drug charges by Alaska state police, the Anchorage Daily News reports.
Levi is the boyfriend of Bristol Palin, eldest daughter of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who was the 2008 vice presidential nominee. When Gov. Palin revealed that the two teenagers were having a baby out of wedlock it became a major news story shortly after she was chosen by Sen. John McCain to be his running mate.
CNN has confirmed that Sherry Johnston was arrested on six felony counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance at her home in Wasilla, Alaska.

Are you kidding me, is this really news? Who cares that the mother of the boyfirend of the oldest daughter of a failed Vice Presidential candidate got arrested for drugs. It amazes me that this woman and anyone related to her is still in the news, any other election year and the loser is out of the news very quickly after the results. But because this retard from Alaska (who is carefully watching the nasty Russians from her porch) was a blip on the nation scene, does not make her news-worthy. Does this mean that because my wife and I were raised in Idaho, the same state that Palin was born in, that if we blow our noses that we can get on the national news. Please Palin just go away.

Palin did a campaign where she claimed that this kind of mistakes are unforgivable and that the mistakes made by people around us are pretty much mistakes made by us. Wasn't that what the Governor implied so many times?

Well, Obama never claimed to be Mr. Family Values. The democratic party never set itself up as the party of the righteous. The republicans are always preaching how they are the party of morality. If Palin hadn't said she was the stereotypical loving mother with the ideal family, then this wouldn't be such a joke.

Who says Gov. Palin is "palling" around with druggies? Just because her soon-to-be son-in-law's mother gets busted for felony misconduct of an illegal substance, doesn't mean she knew what was going on or that she pals around with her. It really bothers me to see all the left-winged liberal nut-jobs slamming a governor they KNOW NOTHING ABOUT. Maybe Mrs. Pallin will intercede on Mrs. Johnston's behalf. She interceded last time when she stepped in and got the State Trooper ex-brother-in-law fired. "No I'm not guilty of abuse of power!" So maybe she won't abuse her power with Mrs. Johnston. Levi Johnston was never prosecuted for getting a minor child (Bristol Pallin) pregnant. See? No abuse of power.

Has anyone seen Bristol lately? No! You know why? Because she's not pregnant and never has been. That was a lie concocted by the lying GOP (led by Liar-in-Chief Sarah Palin) to cover up the fact that Bristol - not Gov. Palin - gave birth to the baby with Down's syndrome. Now that it's finally time for Bristol to deliver her (and Levi's) baby, she's nowhere to be seen - and I'll betcha (to quote Palin) you won't be seeing a wedding or a baby.
