Yes we can.....TOGETHER!

I must say, it's funny how some people say he will not do great as President. They don't care to give Barack Obama a chance. These are the same negative people who are disgusting with themselves and their own lives. Some of you insist he should go back to Kenya where he was born. To run for President you must first prove your birthplace is within the United States. Um....I think this has been done a long time ago. Actually, it has been proved he was born here.

And those who call him a false messiah...he is now your messiah and if you have ideas to get the US and the world going again then run for office. Until then just shut up and watch the rest of America unite to fix this mess!

It is clear President-elect Obama is a man who sets goals and gets things done. He is organized and focused. He is proactive instead of reactive. This is a welcome contrast to Bush's shooting from the hip approach. It's about time we have a true leader again.

A happy and blessed holidays to all.

Not born in Kenya, born in Hawaii.

The only people who call him a messiah are delusional conservatives.

George W Bush opened the door to 16 radical muslim Saudis to fly planes into the WTC.

So troll around you 18%, and keep delusionally attacking him. But you have an intelligent, strong, and progressive President now. Sorry if you prefer the American collapse from the last conservative administration.

Hmmm - Exactly the opposite ratings of "the shrub"
You haters had 8-years to screw this country up and over - so now you should all sit back, shut-up and watch how someone competent get things done!
Just because GOP governance has been proven to be an abysmal failure doesn't mean it has to stay that way!

Some folks have an axe to grind because their guy lost. Gee, it sure sucks to be you. Well, give Obama your best shot. He's a man, he can take it. If that doesn't help, you can always try primal scream therapy.

Meanwhile, the rest of us will be doing our part to repair the damage done by the Bush/Cheney administration during the past eight long, arduous years.

Barack Obama has consistently has shown the character, integrity, judgement, and leadership potential necessary to restore our nation's standing in the world, resurrect our economic vitality, fix the broken health care system, and motivate industry to shift from fossil fuel to non-polluting, renewable energy technologies.

No small feat--the bar has been set high. The American public has given Obama a vote of confidence. In one month--show time.

Ray Fisher

Because someone doesn't like Obama's transition they are a member of the KKK? Great stereotype you have there... even though he didn't oppose prop 8, has Rick Warren speaking at his big day, etc. There are other reasons other than racism for 20% of America not being thrilled with his transition thus far. Although I agree... there is a fraction of this country that will always hate him simply because of his color... which I agee is sick.

Do you hear the MSM talking about his record approval ratings. Nope. All they are fixated on, is finding anything to link PE O to that Gov Blago (whatever).

I am appealing to Dems and people who love this country. Be very vigilant and don't believe everything the MSM tells you. Do your own research. We voted for this man because we believe in him. The right wing is foaming at the mouth trying to find anything to stick to him, but as we have seen time and time again, they always receive egg on their faces...LOL We are his foot soldiers and we should defend him against all false attacks. Once we falter, the right wing will move in to capitalize and divide us.

It is still a honeymoon, American people will see if he can make any difference, better than Joe Biden in the senate for 37 years, or other old-timer Democrats. After all, can we trust any politician or lawyer form Chicago, Illinois?

What's there to disaprove? Obama has done an excellent job choosing his cabinet and handling other issues thus far. The few who have issues with him are those whom one could never please, and that's their personal issue.

Oh yeah..Good going PEBO! you got my vote of approval too..even though I was not asked!

To PEBO:
Kepp plodding, you and the O-Team will make it. Just stay on the path and keep your eyes on the goal. Forget the back stabbers, whiners, naysayers and all other negatives that will come your way. Oh wait..you already know what I am talking about..

Just continue doing what you are doing. I may not agree with everything you say or do ( you are human afterall), but you have the country's best interest at heart and THAT I hope will not change..

Some of you people are so stupid on here, you should be poster children for why "No Child Left Behind" was a colossal failure. The man isn't office yet! Some of you are just going to disapprove of anything he does or says to salve your own guilty consciences, which are hopelessly racist and incurably bigoted. Some of you should call your valedictorian Sarah Palin and see if Sylvan Learning Center is taking group rates.

Most of this transition has been him "revising" his campaign promises and acknowledging that they will be "delayed".. Approving of his transition means nil. I seriously doubt that 4 of 5 americans will approve of his actions a year from now. There is no end in sight for the recession, at least until 2012.

obama has built up a super magority for him self as leader of the democratic party . in the senate they will have 59 seats , and in the house a majority of just over 80 seats over the gop . now it wont be hard to top bush as president , this means in two years time at the midterms i beleave the democrats will increase their numbers even more . thus a democratic super majority.

I absolutely love this guy, and I can see that I'm not alone! I think he's the best thing that has happened to our great republic in a long time.

I just hope and pray that God keeps Barack and his family safe and out of harms way. I know I'm just being a bit paranoid, but with all the similarities between PE Obama and President Lincoln (add the inaugural Bible to the list), I just can't help but be a little on edge.

He's been handling the job we elected him for, with seriousness and dignity. What's not to like?

Sure, the minute he stops doing that, the polls will change, but right now... he's been doing everything right.

For those who are against him... the skeptics... he's been too good too good to be true. There's no such thing as a good polititian; a president with intelligence and integrity. They wait for that other shoe to fall. Oh well... it's their perogative to remain skeptical. Cause no matter what, Obama said he's going to be their president, too.

As Obama said last week, it's extremely frustrating that he can't address the Blago scandal. So frustrating in fact, that once he has the opportunity to address the scandal, he goes off to Hawaii and attends his grandmothers services and Rahm goes off to Africa for a Christmas trip. Neither has the time to address the report that was released. It is so frustrating when you can't address the scandal, isn't it?

Change you can laugh at.

Neither has the time to address the report that was released. It is so frustrating when you can't address the scandal, isn't it?

Change you can laugh at.

As we all approach 2009 at this Christmas and High Holidays season, can we not all take a breath and look hopefully to a better tomorrow. You who are not Obama supporters need to reflect on where this country has been for the last eight years. We have all suffered whether we want to admit it or not from an Administration who has not put Americans and this country first..

Mr. President Elect, majority of Americans are approving the way you are handling your transition team and cabinet picks. I can't wait for the January 20th, 2009 when you take office.

CONGRATULATIONS or as we say in SWAHILI, HONGERA SANA.

Obama has shown us so far - he's very serious about making some great fundamental changes - which are so needed. I believe in him and his administration. I'm glad that I voted for him. He will be one of the Presidents' in which will make history. I would love to see him running this country for second term!

Good Luck, Mr. President Obama,
Happy Holidays, and I know that you and your team will make us very proud of you and this country again.
(I am glad you got closer with your Granny this week, relax enjoy your vacation with your families.)
Don't even think about the naysayers, the haters, and the racist people that still don't want to change, we know you will help and protect all mankind.
Be Bless you Son we're all praying for you and our new faith in this country to prosper and come back with great respect from others
