They should have a "No footwear" rule.

Merry Christmas, you S.O.B. Thanks for letting terrorists kill 4,000 of our soldiers. You sir are a true menace. Thanks for putting us in a war we shouldn't have been. Thanks for letting our economy slip. Thanks for finally LEAVING!

Linda   December 24th, 2008 4:50 pm ET

President Bush and the entire Bush family–I hope that all of you have a Merry Christmas and the best to all of you in 2009. President Bush, I want to thank you for keeping us safe during your presidency. I want to thank you for the kindness that you showed to the families of the lost soldiers in the Iraq war. You don't see anyone commenting on this–I want you to know there are a lot of Americans that feel that everyt decision that you made, you made because you wanted to keep all of America safe. And when Obama takes office and finds out that he CANNOT end the war as soon as he promised people he would, then everyone will know that keeping all of us safe is not such an easy thing to do. May whatever you do in the future bring you happiness.

Bud   December 24th, 2008 4:44 pm ET

Maybe he'll choke on his tamales if he becomes finally aware of what he has doner to our economy, military and our Constitution and takes responsibility for being a terrible President. Even Pat Robertson is critical of him. UGH!

Alicia   December 24th, 2008 4:34 pm ET

i LOVE YOU FOOLS THANKING BUSH. KEEP ON. THAT IS WHAT THE REPUBS LIKE PEOPLE LIKE PALIN TO THINK. DIVIDE AND CONQUER.

THIS ALL HAPPENED BUSH WATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 9-11 HAPPENED ON BUSH WATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CAROLE   December 24th, 2008 4:26 pm ET

Disgraceful....why don't Bush, the Mrs. and the TWINS who escaped the Iraq war go to a homeless shelter and either serve or god forbid eat the food po folks eat. Oh wait, I am confusing Bush with the new PRESIDENT OBAMA.

Sickening.

America loses. December 24th, 2008 12:26 pm ET

Thank you President for keeping us safe since September 11, 2001.

History will be kind to you. My biggest concern is that the next administration will destroy all of our hard fought gains.

Thank you President Bush and the great men and women of the military.

Merry Christmas,
To al of you
-------------------------------–
I know it's Christmas Eve but I GOTTA ask, what the hell kind of "hard fought gains" do we have? Are you KIDDING ME? As far as being attacked, we have been LUCKY, it's nothing that Bush has done, the fact he wanted to sell our sea ports to Dubai, Saudi Arabia should tell you that much. My heart goes out to our military suffering needlessly in a country that did nothing to us but our current president can go to roasting HELL.

Merry Christmas yall.

Dave, Illinois   December 24th, 2008 4:15 pm ET

Merry Christmas Bush family. You have been the object of relentless negative media bias, but fair-minded grownups know the challenges that were laid before you and that your administration worked hard for the security of this country.
Now for you hateful Libs that will fill up this, and any other non-Obama-related bloggs, with your idiotic hateful posts – Merry Christmas and I hope the new year will beat or teach some manners into you!!!!!

joe   December 24th, 2008 4:10 pm ET

How can anyone think Bush kept us safe when 9/11 happened on his watch?

So does that mean when there's an attack while Obama's president, we'll hear republicans scream fowl about how he didn't keep us safe?

Are people really this ignorant?

Marie banderas   December 24th, 2008 4:09 pm ET

Its Christmas eve folks, cant we all just let it go, and wish everyone/anyone and all a
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND BETTER NEW YEAR

I want to thank Pres. Bush for all the good he has done for our country and sticking to his beliefs when others were on his back. I am worried about the future with the next president. I don't trust him or believe he will accomplish what he says he will.
PRESIDENT BUSH AND MRS BUSH PLEASE PRAY FOR US AS YOU RETURN TO TEXAS.

Nick Wright from Atlanta, GA   December 24th, 2008 3:49 pm ET

Correction – Christmas Eve is on Wednesday. Christmas is on Thursday. The Bushes will be sitting down tonight (Wednesday night) for enchiladas.

He doesnt deserve to celebrate christmas HE SHOULD BE IN JAIL! LOCKED UP FOR HIS CRIMES!!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS

Corey Gabriel   December 24th, 2008 3:12 pm ET

Good Riddence finally. Instead of a nice retirement with taxpayer funded pensions, Bush, Cheney, Albertooooo, Rumsfield, and all of their lackeys should be going to jail for: violating their oaths of office, shredding the Constitution and failing to obey the laws, telling whopper lies to the public, cooking the books on intelligence, and their war crimes. Not only that, but not prison worthy, is their total ineptitude in running the government....their responses to terrorism, Katrina, the economic meltdown, etc. were monumental disasters. So, good-bye, farewell, it wasn't good to know you.....GOOD RIDDENCE!

Take away the Cranberry Sauce it sounds like our Christmas menu. Neither of us are into Cranberry Sauce, but got some standing by and will be glad to serve it if a guest wishes. Anyway, to the point. Well, I guess that was the point.

Merry Christmas everybody...

Oh yeah, almost forgot. If the cranberry sauce is not used it will be donated.

Gallimimus   December 24th, 2008 2:57 pm ET

Good riddance, Mr. Bush. The US will be so much better off without you.

The Obama show. Stop being so hateful it's Christmas.

Phil in KC   December 24th, 2008 2:52 pm ET

The Christmas Day menu sounds about right. (Being from Iowa, I would substitute corn for the green beans.) But he can keep his Christmas Eve menu. I wouldn't eat any of those things.

Stacy from Leesburg VA   December 24th, 2008 2:44 pm ET

Wow “Welcome to the Obama Show!!!!!!”, you are a jolly sort on this Christmas Eve. I don’t know about you, but I don’t see a lot of lazy people. I see a lot of people out of work that cannot find a job right now. I have family members in the construction field that would love a job, you providing one? Also, you are talking about a small minority of people “not wanting to work” and projecting it as a majority of cases out there when that is the clearly not the case. Insurance companies get sued because they don’t provide promised benefits and if a doctor royally messed up on your surgery, you are not going to sue them? Really? It has been the GOP that has provided tax breaks to companies to go overseas and kill American jobs under the watch of Bush and other GOP administrations. As far as your xenophobic response, that does not warrant any sort of merit. In total, your comments are wholly uneducated and misanthropic. Merry Christmas.

richard   December 24th, 2008 2:41 pm ET

Don't worry, its only democrats who are on the "BRINK OF
ECONOMIC DISASTER". They just can't seem to make it without taking money from other people. The last 8 years have been great for me. Merry Christmas

"Thank you President for keeping us safe since September 11, 2001."

That's pretty funny. Is like saying thank you Mr President...until where it was one of the biggest attacks in our soil since Pearl Harbor. I guess we try too much, huh?

Since is Christmas Eve, this is for a time of joy and wishes. Not just wishes for your family or friends but for our country as well. If in some battles during WW2 celebrated Christmas and the lord, nothing is more powerful than unity...might've been one day but that's how life is.

Plus, let's get this party started!

ROSE   December 24th, 2008 2:26 pm ET

Why not compare what Bush is having for Christmas dinner with what Obama is having...you might also compare with what YOUR having.

shelby   December 24th, 2008 2:22 pm ET

Maybe next year the Obamas can make the short trip to Camp David and not consume umpteen thousands of gallons of fuel in their chartered jet to Hawaii. He's the man who wants to turn off some of the lights at the White House, but thinks nothing of the expensive trip he's on. Yeah folks, he's just like you and me. And David Goldman, what do you think is more expensive- the Bush turkey dinner or the Obama family trip?

Antone   December 24th, 2008 2:16 pm ET

When we are attacked again, under the Obama reign, we will once again re-prioritize our problems. Would you rather be sitting out there making a decision about how much to cut back on your Christmas celebration, or deciding between jumping out of a 100 story window versus burning to death. Go ahead and rant on if you feel the need, but remember.

WELCOME TO THE OBAMA SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!   December 24th, 2008 12:26 pm ET

THIS COUNTRY IS GOING DOWN FOR MORE REASONS THAN BUSH!!

OBAMA USED THAT AS A TOOL TO GET ELECTED!!!!!!!

THE REAL REASON THIS COUNTRY IS GOING UNDER IS MADE UP OF SEVERAL ISSUES.

1. MAKING FOREIGN PEOPLE AMERICAN CITIZENS AND THEN LETTING THEM STAND IN LINE WITH THE REST OF THE LAZY PEOPLE FOR FREE HANDOUTS.

2. GIVING FREE MONEY AWAY TO PEOPLE WHO COULD WORK.
IT PAYS TO HAVE LOTS OF BABIES AND LIVE OFF THE GOVERNMENT RATHER THAN WORK.

3. LAW SUITS AGAINST INSURANCE COMPANIES AND MEDICAL DOCTORS/COMPANIES WHICH HAS DRIVEN OUR RATES THROUGH THE ROOF.

4. SENDING JOBS OVER SEAS. LOOK AT JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING YOU BUY ITS MADE OUT OF THE US.

5. AND GREED AS LONG AS CRIME PAYS NOTHING WILL EVERY CHANGE IN THIS COUNTRY. WE NEED TO PUT ALL THESE CROOKED PEOPLE IN JAIL.

SO PLEASE STOP BLAMING BUSH FOR EVERYTHING AND WAKE UP!
