We were free of terror attacks more out of the last 100 years. Bush didn't prevent or stop anything. He has mush for brains.

    to re-examine this.....

you say we have been free of terrorist attacks for the last 7 years? yes this may b true but we have been at war for the last 5 years, killing more people than we're killed on 9/11. 7 years of safety? what about the last 50 years before 9/11? werent we safe from terror attacks then? if bush would have done his job, the terror attacks would have never happened. re-examine that.

If only "W" had read his daily briefs in 2001, there would have been no 9-11. At least he gets another chance to make ithis right.

I wish he could also have a do over for 9-11 and Katrina.

    TO: Reexamine this:

...but Bush is 0% terror attack free if you look at eight years instead of seven.

Obama will do as well as humanly possible with the steaming pile of s–t that he was handed by Bush and his team of cronies

    Happy Holidays!

Terror free for 100 years...really? I suppose the WTC attacks in the 90's did not count...the OKlahoma City Bombing must not have happened and Tim Mcveigh is celebrating Christmas with his family, and the USS COle did not get bombed all during WJC 2 terms in office. Silly me...

President Bush will be looked on by historians as one of the great presidents. Its a sad day when the majority of people look at someone who has kept them safe, and blame him for the damage the Democrats in Congress have been responsible for.

Re-examine this.....if you look at Bush's FULL record, he is 0% safety. 911 happened on HIS watch. How do four airplanes get past our national security to crash into four separate places and not get taken down? How can you overlook that? Does the last seven years of losing well over 4000 soldiers in a war of occupation make you feel safer just because we are losing them overseas? I really don't get that comment of him being a safe president. He has allowed Al Qaeda to freely reign in Iraq and the Taliban to rebuild in Afghanistan. Together wars in these two countries have killed many of our best, bravest citizens. Take some time to re-examine your comment

I have to admit that I have been totally amazed at all the negative comments over the past 6 months concerning our President. While so many people are quick to blame bush for all the problems, can any of you tell me who has really been in charge for the past 2 years? It wasn't the republicans. The democratic party also spent almost 500 million dollars over the past 2 years to discredit the Bush administration. They refused to do anything to stop the Oil speculators and allowed them to throw our country into the current economic disaster. Why? To blame it on Bush. I did not vote for Obama, but I will support Him because he was America's choice. I just think its sad that so many people are so dense as to believe the lies that have been told by the democrats. Please use the brains that the Good Lord gave you and understand that the democrats have been in charge for 2 years. Look at how the last 2 years have gone in the United States. I am afraid that things will get worse before they get better. Good Luck Mr. President elect.

You liberals are idiots. Blame Bush for 9/11? Go read some history about the Clinton years pinhead. Where were all you morons when Clinton was handing out pardons to all his felon buddies? I am amazed everyday at the absolute stupidity of people.

BTW liberals, after bashing oil companies for high gas prices, why are you not praising them for low gas prices? Did any of you take an economics course or even graduate from high school?

Try telling the family of the fallen troops that we have been terror free. Bush just put Americans over there to be killed so they would not come over here. Sounds more like they were served up then protected re-examine this. And cmars, check your own spelling. Its Colors not colours looser.

    Re-examine this......:

More people die from drunk drivers than terrorists. It isn't about the danger. It is that they are using fear as a tool for gaining more power.

Just look at the illegal wiretapping, the torture, the firing of the attorneys in the justice department. The list of examples keeps going.

Terrorism kills people, but we have much bigger fish to fry, and high flying rhetoric about freedom and safety doesn't do anything to OVERALL improve this country.
