Great! Now Bush is being accused of being a bad president because "he was more like a Democrat than a Republican". The stand he took against terrorists (atfter 9/11?) is the same action any president would have taken after our nation had been attacked, dummy. The difference would have been that Bush went after the wrong bad guy when he tricked Congress and the American people into invading Iraq. Ok, I voted for Bush, but I admit, he needs to go.

But, with that said. He was, and is only one man in power. I do not, nor will I blame him for the countries problems. There are many more in congress and the senate, on both sides of the parties who need to go.

He did not create this mess alone we are in. He had PLENTY of help.
Each and every politician in Washington is, and should be held responsible for creating the bad economy. All the way back to Clinton and George the first.

Yes, Bush is gone, he needs to be gone. Change is needed. I can only hope Obama does bring the change he so expertly preached about. This coming from a person who did NOT vote for Obama.
I honestly do not see it, he filled his cabinet with Clinton era people. He has not made any major shakes or moves. Anything he has done has been political.

Again, all of you people who point fingers, point those fingers at Washington as a whole. Not one man. But then again, you people who point at Bush are probaly limited in your knowledge, have bought intot he smooth talking Obama. You can not see past your hatred and political scenes.

And you are wrong he did accomplish some things while in office, to bring down Saddam who insulted his Daddy, start a war on false pretenses and make money for Haliburton a company Cheney had ties to, and probably still did "secretly" through friends, driving gas prices up so his Arab friends could rake in the dough, do anything he could to hurt our environment by not setting some kind of regulation in place to keep big corporations from polluting our land, water and air, by not protecting us from Wall Street, he was against regulation, he gave them and others freedom to do what they liked while he was in office to rape us over the coals to earn all they could. yea he accomplished alot I would say. This comment is just another Republican that wants to put the blame for our economic woes on the Dems. So he says Bush was more of a Dem. Wrong buddy. Truman paid the price for standing for what he believed, let's see if GW Bush will do the same, then you can start to compare them more closely.

Isn't that sad that so many of us won't be sorry to see Bush leave office....he has messed this country up so badly and I still don't think he really realizes that yet!!!
I do think outside of the Presidency he is a nice man....but he was just not Presidential material unfortunately and the state of the country has reflected that.
We all hope with PE Obama we will get more confidence back and the country can start to feel some upbeat movement again and getting back to people feeling good about themselves and can look forward to the future once again with more hope.

Okay...one thing that the Bush Admin must get credit for is the way they spent so much to try and help the AIDS epidemic in Africa. In Kenya alone, the rate of HIV is declining and this is in part to the fact that resources are no available to educate and help with medication. Safe sex is also being promoted and educatiors now have money to provide condoms etc. So thank you G.W for your good work your administration has done to try and save lives in Africa in regards to AIDS.
