I wish it was possible to institute a requirement that a poster have an IQ in triple digits (that's 100 or over) before being allowed to post.
Come to think of it, that wouldn't be a bad requirement for VOTING, either. Had it been in place in 2000 or 2004, we wouldn't have been subjected to eight years of the fascist oligarchy of the Busch Reich.

Most of the power has restored to Oahu. The rhythm of daily life is taking shape, and people are moving along with enjoying the remainder of Saturday. Waikiki got power soon after daylight, and the major shopping malls had power by 10:30 am.

If anyone states that outage is good for the "elitist" Obama, trust me that's there's nothing elitist about staying in a darkened airport, highway, or building for over 6 hours.

Proud American, You need to get a life. You go to Kenya and see what is going on. I have my right of expression. Truth hurts like you idiot.

Kudos to the HECO (Hawaiian Electric Company) employees who climbed a dangerous mountain at night to get this thing fixed. We on Oahu are grateful. Thanks to everyone who practiced aloha and unsnarled the traffic without getting angry. Thanks to the tourists in Waikiki for staying calm. I am proud to live in Hawaii.

Amazing how the Republicans don't see the power outage for exactly what it is – a devastation of American infrastructure after 8 years of Republican MISRULE.
Oops, sorry, they would actually have to be educated, and possess the ability to logically reason!

Betty, we've seen the birth certificate. It's real. It's there. And if you think some midnight decision is going to keep him from being president, then you're just going to have to repeat after me: President Barack Hussein Obama. America's first African-American president, in office by electoral landslide.
And there isn't a thing your twisted self can do about it.
