Bush 41: Now probably a ‘bad time’ for Jeb to run for W.H.

Former President George H. W. Bush says son, Jeb, possesses all the qualities necessary to win the White House.
Former President George H. W. Bush says son, Jeb, possesses all the qualities necessary to win the White House.

WASHINGTON (CNN) – His son hasn’t left the White House yet, but former president George H. W. Bush is already thinking about the next Bush who might one day move in. The elder Bush says his oldest son, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, has all the qualities necessary to occupy the Oval Office.

“I’d like to see him run, I’d like to see him be president some day,” the nation’s 41st chief executive declared on “Fox News Sunday.” He is “as qualified and as able as anyone I know in the political scene."

However, the senior Bush acknowledged, “Right now is probably a bad time, because we've got enough Bushes in there.”

In the meantime, the former president suggested his son would make an “outstanding senator” because Jeb “really has a feel for people, the issues in Florida and nationally, and his political days ought not to be over, says his old father.”

The current President Bush agrees, openly saying he would like to see his brother run for the Florida Senate seat, replacing outgoing Republican incumbent Mel Martinez in 2010.

This has been a dream of Bush 41 since he was VP under Reagan. He wanted to go down in history as the head of the Bush Dynasty. He told this years ago. The family thinks they are the royals of the country and Bush '41 is the king. I am sorry to inform them that is not so. Someone said it earlier, Bush/Palin in 2012, the Republicans better hope not.

It is time for the Bush crime family to go back into the woodwork and let the country prosper for a change. The bush regime was much like a crime syndicate, extracting money for protection while they and their buddies ran away with our tax dollars, leaving the financial industry to rape us clean and now we are all having to pay. No more Bushes, ever again. They should all be in Jail.

False start on my last comment...

If you've read any of my recent comments which are liberally spread around the Internet, you know I'm working on a list of people to run over with a Hummer. I just added two more...

The crazy thing is, I wouldn't be surprised in the least if the Repugs don't glom onto Jeb as a good idea. I can see it now– BUSH-PALIN in '12!

Bushes fooled us once, fooled us twice and now they plan to make fools out of us a third time. I DON'T THINK SO.

Emperor Bush's two-years' reign proves that anything can happen, and anything is possible. If Jeb decides to run for anything again, I will throw my hat in the ring. I think I could take him down.

Pappy – Wake up from your nap. You are dreaming You can't possibly believe that another Bush in the White House is going to happen after W's disastrous reign!

And to the 30% of Americans who still believe in this loony clan for reasons beyond the rest of the country's capacity to comprehend – the Bush family needs to serve the country by not serving the country anymore.

If I wasn't laughing so hard, I'd cry. Bush 43 out of touch on the war... Bush 31 out of touch with the world.

Let the Bush's fade away just like the Presidents Adam did 200 years ago.

No more nepotism for the White House! (that goes for you too, Hillary)

Was Jeb a lying draft dodger like George W was? Was he a druggee like George W? Is his IQ the same as his shoe size like George W? Is he also unable to read (like George W)? Did he also get his father to buy his degree after he failed almost all of his courses like George W did? Is he corrupt like George W? If he answers yes to any of the aforementioned then please spare us all. Otherwise, regretfully he is entitled to run as anyone. Hopefully he will not be that stupid.

Funny remark: "Now is not the right time."
What he must be thinking is, "people need some time to forget how much we suck."

Bush 41 must have a bad dream for Jeb on 2012. People in this country don't need another 4 more years of the Bushies. The Bushies already destroyed enough people life here and people abroad. God have eyes.

What do the Bushes think they are? Jesuses, the legitimate heirs of the world. Haven't they done enough mischieves? These guys have brought enough shame, pain, tears, and bad luck to this country. It's about time that the whole bush lineage retires from the public view and mind. The youngest bush has spoiled it all up for the rest of them. People are so scared of your name that they unroot all bushes in their front and back yard. We thank you all anyway for your time and services, but your services are no longer needed in this country. Go on vacation now. Go visit the moon, Mars, Saturn, Venus, jupiter, etc, if you get lost in space or get swallowed by the galaxy black hole, don't worry, we'll pray for your safe arrival in hell. The human race will feel safer without you as part of it. Bon voyage!.

jeb bush is directly responsible for maliciously firing several florida state scientists for simply doing their job and collecting data that shows that the water in lake okeechobee might as well come straight out of a cow's rear end. is this a person you want for president? he needs to stay as far away from the white house as he can get along with his incompetant bro w.

How sad that our country and the people in it have lost respect for those WE have put to lead. Our children grow up with so much hate and disrespect for people in authority because of the comments made in front of them. We may not always agree with the decisions our politicians make, but we need to remember WE voted them into office. No one will ever live up to the PREFECT standards we hold for them. All we can do is pray the next leader will do what is necessary for ALL of the country not just for their political party or the rich or poor. Our country is one that has deteriorated over the past several years because it seems we have lost sight of what is important. I pray Obama makes good choices and leads us into a brighter day, but if he doesn't I hate to think what will happen to him and what people will then say about him.

Obamas' 'haunted' hotel - legend has it from Chicago Tribune...

Well, this can be true. A few years back, my cousins were college students in CA and they both rented an apartment. Out of the blue, she saw this guy in the mirror she has never seen before, calling her name. Her sister saw the same thing too. They immediately called their DAD, who was a pastor, over to stay with them THAT day and immediately moved out.

In addition, their dad is a traveling pastor. One time he booked a hotel and someone in his room, started throwing his luggage around and there WAS not a SOUL in his room. He got down on his knees and prayed and it went away. Later, he found out, a young man DIED in the hotel room that he had rented.

I really never had any problems with Bush 41, I really never had any problems with Jeb as Governor. As a Democrat I liked and voted for both. NOW when it comes to Dubya, I ALWAYS had problems with him, never liked him as anything, never cared for his smug attitude, always thought he appeared to be better than the rest of us. NEVER voted for him and can't wait for him to leave. Jeb would in my opinion made a fine Senator but because of his out of this world DOLT brother who currently occupies the oval office he has made it impossible for him to run and win. Even the fine folks here in Florida will say no thank you to yet another Bush no matter how good of a Governor he was...
