All i can say is THANK GOD my children and grandchildren have all completed their education. It would be depressing to know that they were being brainwashed by people who are deciples of Saul Alinsky, Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dorn, Rasheid Kahalidi, Ward Curchill and others of that mind set, obama included.

Look at it this way – if you want to know bad, elect the GOP, and they'll deliver bad in spades. They have sytematically allowed Bush and his crowd to destroy what had been built up and now the right-wing commandos are crucifying Obama when he hasn't even taken office yet! If you fear the future under Obama, go buy a huge island, set-up your government and infrastructure, and then invite George Bush to come in and "manage" it for you – just like he did the three companies he owned/managed – right into the ground!!!!!!

He helped to put Hillary's campaign off track, so even if he's in the running for Gov of Virginia, he'll probably end up shooting himself in the foot......unless he got some lessons from the Obama campaign!

So if Virginia doesn't want him, I say offer Terry the NY Senate seat. As a matter of fact, don't wait. Do it now. He knows more than most about ALL of New York State (there's a great big state out there, NYC dwellers).

Terry McAuliffe is a dedicated and savvy public servant. Caroline can't hold a candle him. And be re-elected in 2010 by a huge margin.

Did Martina Stewart (the CNN writer) take this line from a P.R. puff piece? Where else would he be looking? Are we supposed to conclude that McAuliffe is especially rock-ribbed and dedicated compared to whatever Republican might run?

Besides, what happened to Terry's attempt to run for governor in Florida? How'd that work out?

By the way, Humorless in Texas - the Virginia GOP already has its ticket, and it doesn't include Allen. The current Attorney General is the candidate for governor, and the current Lt. Gov is running for reelection.
