We need to focus now on getting rid of Obama. Bush has only a few weeks left, this is the past.... focus on now.
Unlike Clinton, at least President Bush isn't selling and handing out pardons for felons on the run like Marc Rich! Also, there's a great chance President Bush and Laura won't have to be searched for stolen furniture as they leave the Whitehouse like the Clintons either! Face it, most lib loons are just plain trashy people with no pride!
Bush screwed the American people for eight years and now is going to keep screwing us for up to another five years.
It is unbelievable that the worst president in the history of the country can do such a thing.
Neither is Bill Clinton and as along as he isn't, then George Bush will have no fear!!!
Not like "W" could do something humanitarian for Gaza. All other companies are cutting back on positions.. why not Government? What do these appointment mean? Bush didn't really care about those who have lost their job, savings, and homes in the first place.
HOW ABOUT SOME GIFTS LIKE MORE MONEY FOR ALL THE SOLDIERS' FAMILIES THAT WERE KILLED IN IRAQ?? OH YOU MIGHT OF HAVE FORGOTEN ABOUT YOUR DISASTER IN IRAQ ...
MICHAEL CHERTOFF?YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING US!
THE ONLY HOLOCAUST THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION WILL BE KNOWN FOR IS IRAQ UNLESS YOU WANT TO INCLUDE HURRICANE KATRINA AS WELL!
CHERTOFF SHOULD BE ON THE FIRST PLANE OUT OF THE COUNTRY EXCEPT HE'S PROBABLY THE ONLY TERRORIST THAT WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO GET ON A PLANE!
JASON SEHORN WILL TEACH ALL OUR KIDS NOT TO RUN BACK A KICKOFF!YOUR 15 SECONDS OF FAME ARE UP JASON.
OMAR MINAYA HAD BETTER CONCENTRATE ON WINNING OR THIS COULD BE HIS ONLY JOB FOR AWHILE.FIND A CATCHER,A CORNER OUTFIELDER AND A FULL-TIME 2ND BASEMAN AND A STARTING PITCHER,THEN YOU CAN GO!
Hey I have an idea. He could appoint Blagoyavich to the Election Commission and Bernie Madoff to the SEC and then Bush's tenure could be complete. Speaking of Madoff here is s joke that anyone who didn't lose money might think is funny.
Bernie Madoff Who?
Bernie made off with all my #^*%ing money.
Silly libs always in that silly place aren't you? When your Messiah comes into office remember the terrorists hate him too. They will be after us and will continue to do so until they achieve their mission. Why not live in a third world country for 5-6 years and tell me how bad Bush is then. Castro's Cuba- try speaking out against El Comandante down there and see where you land. Our country is great because of its people not because of what party (your team) is in power. Get over the fact Dems represent the working man – I do not believe the Ivy League hangs around with members of the IBEW. If you really believed in the socialistic principles of which you espouse why not compete against Harvard Business School and train people in Command Economies? Didn't think so!
Bush is just placing a bunch of incompetents (as usual) in cushy jobs. He doesn't care about the country. They'll just be spoilers and they'll do whatever they can to screw things up for Obama.
This man will do as much damage as possible as long as possible.
this ignoramus just doesn't know when to quit, does he?
I just read some of these comments. Some of you REALLLLLLLLY need to come join the rest of us who do not wear tinfoil hats.
Wow, what is he thinking? This makes him no different from the accused Illinois governor who tried to appoint the senator to replace Obama.
How all of Bush's last minute activities that last past his term are legal boggles me.
Just Bush being Bush – out to destroy America until the final possible second – when he grants himself a pardon.
Next will come the questionable pardons, as with these appointments, paying back favors both past and future. Nancy Pelosi simply blew it when she decided not to pursue the well justified impeachment of both Bush and Cheney.
My business is booming. I know most people do not like reading about positive stories but here is one. I quit school after the ninth grade, I spent time in jail and was addicted to drugs. To make matters worse I was in a car accident and left permanently disabled. I am now married and have three children. I own my own business and my annual income is over $200,000.00. Congressman Jessie Helms gave me a hand up years ago. He ignored my past and gave me a chance. Our politicians are not perfect but I believe they try to do what is right. We are a country built by people who overcome difficult situations. If your life is not what you want it to be get off your butt and change it. Stop blaming everyone but yourself.
WHY IS THIS SCUMBAG ALLOWED TO MAKE APPOINTMENTS ON THIS DAY.IT'S EITHER GEORGE BUSH IS DRUNK OR THE DRUGS TAKEN ARE HAVING AN EFFECT ON HIM. THIS IDIOT AND WAR CRIMINAL SHOULD BE IN JAIL.
Calm down calm down, Jan. 20th at noon, God will smile on America.
Why are people so angry about these appointments??? It's not like he's abusing his power. Every President does the same thing before they leave office. Just because Its Bush that's doing this that doesn't mean he doesn't have a right to make such LEGAL moves. The far-left loonies are so hateful of Bush that basically anything he does is considered "wrong" even though he has every legal right to do so!!!
This may be perfectly legal, but it is blatantly, wretchedly unethical. Stick around, folks, you ain't seen nothin' yet! On Jan 19-20 W will pass out more pardons to more high-level administration staffers than the last dozen presidents combined. Reagan and Clinton pardoned one cabinet minister apiece. W will pardon at least 6, plus their top staff.
The US Holocaust Memorial Council. Do they really need that many people? What do they do? How much of my tax money will these folks get? How the heck do I get one of these cushy appointments?
January 20, 2009--Cant wait.
