Will Ferrell will take his impersonation of President Bush to Broadway.

NEW YORK (CNN) - Will Ferrell, the man who invented "strategery" and other Bushisms, is taking his spoofs of the 43rd president to Broadway and HBO.

The "Saturday Night Live" veteran will star in "You're Welcome America: A Final Night With George W. Bush" at New York's Cort Theater, with previews in line for Inauguration Day.

The show will take a chronological look at Bush's life - from his college days and time as the governor of Texas to the 2000 race for president and his two terms in office.

Ferrell, who poked fun at the president will his successful impersonations on "SNL," told CNN he likes that Bush "never thinks he's wrong."

"He's arrogant with a school-boy attitude, and combine that with the fact that he is commander in chief - and, unfortunately, it's very funny."

The really "unfortunate" thing is that Will Ferrell is only one of many actors who could have done a better job of playing president than Dubya did. The difference is when actors act like fools on TV or in the theatre, it doesn't destroy the lives and livelyhood of literally millions of people.

Our country was built by people overcoming hard times. My business is booming. I dropped out of school after the ninth grade and spent time in jail. I was addicted to drugs and I am permanently disabled. Congressman Jessie Helms looked past all that and gave me a chance. I now own my own business and my income is over $200,000.00 a year. If a disabled, high scholl drop out could be successful anyone can. This is the most forgiving country in the world and our government for all its faults tries to do the best it can for all it's citizens, even those of us who have made terrible mistakes. If our life is not what you want it to be get off you butt and change it. You are in the greatest country in the world, be thankful.

Excuse me but even with the Best and Most Talented Comedians Bush will never be funny, as whether it's Bush in reality or impersonated the personna will never cease to evoke painful, aggitating, repulsive, pathetic memories. Bush will never be remembered as funny. He will only be remembered if the Media perpetuates it and then only as a Bad Joke. I hope Will is as fit as George in case he has to Dodge a fast flying shoe!

Lenny Schmitt – You and Jessie Helms must of got high together. From the looks of your spelling (scholl) you dropped out in the 3rd grade. The reason americans are out of work is because your Idiot president destoryed our economy and Jesse Helms allowed it while you too were got getting high. Idiot

Will Ferrell is a funny guy however, I do not anticipate that people will flock to this show. Bush destroyed not only this country but the economies around the world. If you ever think that one person can't make a difference, remember Georgie.

Who would want to sit through an 1-2 hour show being reminded of the disaster that these last 8 years have been. It's not even remotely funny.

Will Ferrell is the best! Funniest guy on the planet. He is the only person who could make W laughable for a few minutes. The last 8 years have been such a tragedy for so many people in so many ways. Thank goodness for someone with Ferrell's talent to create something we can actually laugh about and feel ok about it. Will makes a laught at person an not the hurt he has created in so many lives. I say it will be a 5 star performance! As long as he uses good strategery to develop his agenda! Will just remember their is new material everyday. " So I analyzed that and decided I didn't want to be the president during a depression greater than the Great Depression, or the beginning of a depression greater than the Great Depression."—Washington D.C., Dec. 18, 2008

George Bush has kept you and your family safe from terrorism for the past seven years--not one attack on American soil-

When Obama starts appeasing Al Qaeda and the others, you're going to see roadside bombs and suicide bombers in your own neighborhood-

Then you'll appreciate what Bush did for you-

  29. Will isn't funny as anyone

I have never found Will Ferrell funny, even when he is trying to be. So maybe he is trying to actually become as famous as that actress Tina Fay did, finally, when she pretended to be Sarah Palin, the vice presidential nominee. By pretending to be Bush, Ferrell must be hoping his acting career will finally take off...well, it helped Tina, didn't it...and she can't act either.

If the criminal war monger isn't going to jail along with Cheney and the rest of his cronies, at least he should be put publicly to shame as much as possible, and Ferrell is the man for that.

Maybe those that voted republican can donate the Obama tax credit you will receive to the deficits that your vote caused and cover the cost of those of us who could see incompetence from the start.

And no, the shrub has NOT kept us safe, 9/11 happened 9 months into his term. He ignored the daily briefing on his desk in mid-August that was entitled bin Laden likely to strike because he was too busy cutting brush at his ranch in Crawford. Rice and he chose to ignore the Clinton briefings that she sat in during the transition.

But if it makes you feel better, you can pretend 9/11 was not on his watch, but reality and history will prove otherwise.

Unfortunately, given the extent of his distruction, I wish his entire tenure was just a joke. Unfortunately, we will have to live with the results for generations. I wonder how all the bozos who voted for him feel now? Hopefully their all eager to help Bush the international criminal serve out his time!!

Ferrill is not funny at all – and he is homely to boot. Go crawl under a rock.
The problems with the Global economy have been brewing since the Carter administration and most recently the Clinton administration when credit criterion controls were opened up to those with low to no income.

This was further perpetuated and intensified by the "loan sharks" recently giving loans to people who should never have qualified for any line of credit – and were given mortgages.

It might even be traceable to Nixon getting rid of the backing of our monetary system with GOLD. Money is just paper and the government prints more and devalues our dollar here and abroad.
