The problems with the Global economy have been brewing since the Carter administration and most recently the Clinton administration when credit criterion controls were opened up to those with low to no income.

This was further perpetuated and intensified by the "loan sharks" recently giving loans to people who should never have qualified for any line of credit – and were given mortgages.

It might even be traceable to Nixon getting rid of the backing of our monetary system with GOLD. Money is just paper and the government prints more and devalues our dollar here and abroad.

I have never found Will Ferrell funny, even when he is trying to be. Our country was built by people overcoming hard times. My business is booming. I dropped out of school after the ninth grade and spent time in jail. I was addicted to drugs and I am permanently disabled. Congressman Jessie Helms looked past all that and gave me a chance. I now own my own business and my income is over $200,000.00 a year. If a disabled, high scholl drop out could be successful anyone can. This is the most forgiving country in the world and our government for all its faults tries to do the best it can for all it's citizens, even those of us who have made terrible mistakes. If our life is not what you want it to be get off you butt and change it. You are in the greatest country in the world, be thankful.
