His kids are going to private school too what ever happend to change, change change.. yea as we all know who have seen politics for years and years the more things "change" the more they say the same. Politics as usual.. Obama could have really helped DC with it's public school where he could see first hand what problems they had an they would have had an advocate to fight to fix the school system there which from many accounts needs some fixing. BUT No, not a chance the kids will go to an expensive private school and continue politics as usual.. How sad..

Answer – Because of people like TCM (read his post), who bought into the fear mongering and was dumb enough to believe that they were actually making America safer. So the American people gave up their civil rights for security. And I believe it was Ben Franklin (if this is wrong please correct me) that said if you trade liberty for security, you will end up losing both. Plus there was also vote rigging and our wonderful DO Nothing Congress who allowed them to get away with it.

To TCM: Know your facts before you speak. If the Bush Administration had done it's job and listened to the Clinton Administration, 9-11 would not have happened. So you can't really claim that the Bush Administration has kept us safe. Also Bush's failure to retaliate for the bombing of the USS Cole led Bin Laden to launch the 9-11 attacks.
