Gupta is a former White House fellow.

(CNN) – Chief CNN medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta has been approached by the Obama administration about the U.S. surgeon general's post, according to sources inside the transition and at CNN.

Watch: John King on Dr. Gupta

The transition team is impressed with the combination of Gupta's past government experience, as a White House fellow and a special adviser to then-first lady Hillary Clinton, along with his medical career as a neurosurgeon and his communication skills, the transition source said.

Gupta has declined comment on the matter.

CNN released a statement saying, "Since first learning that Dr. Gupta was under consideration for the surgeon general position, CNN has made sure that his on-air reporting has been on health and wellness matters and not on health-care policy or any matters involving the new administration."

"Emilia Jones"- What is your problem? Grow up and get off the blogs. What did your mama teach you? If you can't say something nice............ This is a time for ALL people to come together. Not just blacks or dark skinned blacks (what the hell does that mean?). OBAMA doesn't only "owe" blacks, he owes ALL RACES of the United States to make good on his promises. We ALL came together as one and voted him next POTUS. Get a life and learn how to spell definitely (NOT deffinately). One more thing, OBAMA is "appointing" people and it has nothing to do with appointments! Stop being divisive and trying to start the "race" crap on the blogs. Get a life! UGH!

Jeremy   January 6th, 2009 4:54 pm ET

unfortunately for you Emilia Jones, and fortunately for the rest of the American population, the qualifications for Government positions are not based on the color of skin. Get over yourself.

c from stl   January 6th, 2009 4:54 pm ET

Sanjay Gupta, you are so hot... :)

Obamaniac   January 6th, 2009 4:54 pm ET

Obama must be the most cynical man to ever be elected president. "Hmmm, I need a surgeon general that the mindless bufoons who voted for me will like....Ah Ha!! A celebrity doctor who works for CNN.. 2 birds with one stone. THe masses will like this guy because he's a TV peronality, and CNN will give me another round of adoring coverage."

Too bad Russia, China,Iran, Al-Queida, and Hamas don't play these childish games Obama is so fond of. They are going to eat this idiot alive.

AndyL   January 6th, 2009 4:52 pm ET

@Obama-Mama, Ease up on the sugar, Dr Gupta I'm sure would agree, its not good for you. Maybe you could post something intelligent, instead of just displaying your schoolgirl like glee. Does your mommy know you are using the computer?

BB   January 6th, 2009 4:51 pm ET

Good choice – a very intelligent and very competent neurosurgeon.

George   January 6th, 2009 4:51 pm ET

Nothing but the best. Wonderful choice and fit for the position as well. Please take the job Dr. Gupta.

M   January 6th, 2009 4:51 pm ET

I think Dr. Gupta would be a very good choice...I am smiling on this one. Another good choice would be Dr. Benjamin Carson, M.D., a leading neurosurgeon at John Hopkins.

Lilarose in Bandon, Oregon   January 6th, 2009 4:51 pm ET

I like Sanjay Gupta.

If he leaves CNN, we the viewers won't see him and his reports anymore.

I think he has more to offer the public at CNN than he does behind a desk as yet another government figure.

Tell them "NO," Sanjay!

Jan Illinois   January 6th, 2009 4:50 pm ET

Good Going Gupta, You will be great.

Meh   January 6th, 2009 4:50 pm ET

Emilia Jones...are you for real? You think that b/c Barack is half black that he should hire mainly black candidates? That would be rather racist of him, wouldn't it? He's hiring who he thinks would do the best job! It's silly of you not to vote for him b/c of that.

I'm with you Steve. Emily needs to check herself.

boered1   January 6th, 2009 4:50 pm ET

not sure if I like this choice.. assuming it is a choice... I think a television personality, no matter what his background, is probably the wrong sort to make the decisions needed. I would prefer some unknown who ran a major hospital or trauma center but hey that is only my opinion.

Saul Virginia   January 6th, 2009 4:48 pm ET

I am so proud of Obama for Picking Dr Gupta. He is someone that i admire greatly for his knowledge and enormous desire to help Americans get healthier. This is a start of a new era where education is rewarded and not about who you know. Parents can tell their kids again the value of education an
d the importance of aspiring for the highest education possible.
I wish Dr Gupta all the best and hope he accepts the position.

America needs Dr Gupta's freshness and new ideas right now!!!

Awesome nod to an awesome guy – Congratulations, Dr. G, you're not only incredibly knowledgeable (and I enjoy your pieces on CNN very much) but you are personable and would make a terrific S.G. President-Elect Obama has made some wonderful moves all along, and this one is a stand-out!

Dr. Gupta is an excellent choice, Plus, I feel he will not be a yes man to President Elect Obama. I love this guy.

Is it just me or are more of the American people involved, informed and ready to make a difference for this great country. These are exciting times.

I vote for Robin Meade for Press Secretary. I promise I'll never miss a briefing. Really though, this guy sounds pretty sharp.

Good choice!

Obama should also let the United Nation take center stage on the Gaza situation...and focus on the US Economy.

RoseyToes   January 6th, 2009 4:45 pm ET

WOW! Whatta fabulous choice! Regardless of how serious the topic on CNN, Dr. Gupta always manages to deliver his extensive expertise with veritable aplomb, a dash of charm, and a dollop humor. Way to go Obama! As Surgeon general, Dr. Gupta's impact on American healthcare concerns will be far-reaching. We can't wait for january 20th!

Mahesh Lalwani   January 6th, 2009 4:45 pm ET

Dr. Gupta not only marvels at domestic health policies, (system) deficiencies, medicinal intricacies and innovation but he has international exposure too. By making him the surgeon general US can take a lead at UN in resolving health problems of a flat world. I sure think this administration will reverse the world hatred we have garnered in last few years and command respect and gain trust and love again. Thank you Obama, good luck Sanjay.

I think it’s a smart pick, Dr. Gupta has excellent communication skills. Plus his appeal to minorities, young people the general public will add something to this post that it has been lacking in years. His high visibility brings attention to the nation’s health issues which is of great concern to every American & globally.
Hope he takes the job…Plus he’s easy on the eyes!!!

Mike   January 6th, 2009 4:41 pm ET

I am sorry, i can't accept the cheers here. Please think about the environment that Dr. Gupta has been living in for the past years. Stupid reporters asking stupid questions, forceing him to give stupid answers that even a 5th-grader could understand. And that man is to brief the President in case (among other horror-scenarios) a bio-weapon is set off in the U.S.? No, i am sorry, the surgeon general – after 9/11 – needs to be qualified in different areas, not "looking good on TV"...

JT in NC   January 6th, 2009 4:40 pm ET

This is a great pick for the Obama administration! Way to go!

NYC REPUB   January 6th, 2009 4:40 pm ET

I have to comment to E. Jones. Ms. Jones that comment about more African Americans in the cabinet is ignorant....... We have Obama (who by the way is half white) shout out to my white bros. & sisters, and he's appointed Eric Holder as attorney general...... You know the transcendant quality of Obama, is that he is all inclusive..... Look at his cabinet white, black, asian, latino...... And he also has many woman within the cabinet. As an African American who is tired of the race card, (whatever color/creed look at the palestinians/israelis, unless the shoe fits) we need to embrace each other as Americans.
God bless, and long live the Obama administration.

He's the right man for the job. Period. And anyone who thinks otherwise has no idea what they are talking about.

Ron in NC   January 6th, 2009 4:37 pm ET

What nonsense. If I didn't know better, I would think the Obama administration is trying to hire celebrities ....

The sad truth is that Americans are so addicted to TV and popular media that they now want celebrities for leaders to : Obama never would have won the election if he were fat, short and bald.

What!!?? Playing poker with the race cards again? If you remember in Chicago, Obama said he would be president of ALL OF US! I am a Black conservative and even I am pleased with mostly what I see so far. This is not and has never been about race. This is indeed our time but the OUR would be America! Who are the WE that should be the majority or appointments? Qualified Americans I hope! If you only voted for him because he is (half) black you are just as ignorant as those who did not vote him because he is (half) black!

Dr. Gupta is already a public figure, but he hasn't been blinded by the lights. I remember when he was working as a CNN correspondent and did emergency brain surgery on a little Iraqi boy. He is brilliant, but his heart is in the right place. A great choice.

Dan White   January 6th, 2009 4:32 pm ET

I am sick of these negative comments as if Obama chose Dr. Kevorkian (suicide Dr.). We don't need Drs like former senator who was out of line about Marie Schao nor a Dr. who based his policies on faith. Dr. Gupta is an excellent choice.

Never impressed by this moron. He can not keep doctoral integrity. I stripped him his when he did a convention with bill clinton on CNN "END OF AIDS". He even indicated how there is a medicine and this is the real end of aids. He is money hungry and I have seen it time and again on CNN.........

Remember last august when he said in New york during Cnn hero award, about grandma and grandpas raising their grandkids in Africa?

I wondered if there are no grandpas and grandmas raising kids in India.........I have no respect for you!!

Go away, Opportunist!
I don't know how I can believe you anymore

I am sure you solicited to Obama!!

Jim   January 6th, 2009 4:31 pm ET

Very fitting choice. A neurosurgeon, a former white house fellow, a charismatic guy who is comfortable on the tube, and a very accomplished person all around. Sanjay Gupta rocks. I hope he takes it !

Debbie   January 6th, 2009 4:30 pm ET

To Emilia Jones,
When the "best" person is chosen for a job, color and gender should not be an issue. Nominating people for positions because they are black, Latino, or female is just as stupid as not voting for the best leader we'll have in a long time – Mr. Obama. I have a feeling he will not need your vote next time!

jay o   January 6th, 2009 4:30 pm ET

No, pls – leave him alone for us. Gup is more useful to us at cnn.

drich   January 6th, 2009 4:30 pm ET

Emilia Jones do you believe that skin color is what to be judged by in appointments? That is horrible. Also remember Obama is unique in which they all say he is "african american" but remember he is half caucasion. Not being an Obama supporter I still believe he is doing great job in his appointments. Also for someone who like myself watches Fox news instead of Cnn usually; Gupta would be a GREAT PICK!!!! Gupta can then run for congress after that.

Joyce   January 6th, 2009 4:30 pm ET

I think Dr. Sanjay Gupta would be an excellent choice for Surgeon General. Given all his credentials and his journalistic qualities, he would be a good choice. I watch him on CNN and I love listening to him.

Wow CNN, what a coup! Good luck and best wishes to you Dr. Gupta!

Christian, Tampa FL   January 6th, 2009 4:29 pm ET

Gupta's status as a household name, and his media communications experience, could make him the best candidate for the job. It would be great to have a surgeon general who would communicate often and directly with the American people on health matters.

Scott from NC   January 6th, 2009 4:29 pm ET

Muneesh in NJ   January 6th, 2009 4:29 pm ET

Chicago GOP   January 6th, 2009 4:28 pm ET

Emilia...you are obviously the voice of pure ignorance. Shouldn't Mr. Obama be choosing the most qualified candidates and not the most qualified dark-skinned candidates? Comments like the one you made only intensify the racial divide in this country and perpetuate racism! Black-Americans only represent ~13% of the US population, yet you want them to comprise over 50% of Obama's cabinet??? Where is your logic? The next four years need to be about solving all of America's problems, not just progressing the civil rights movement.

Charles L. Shaw, Liverpool, NY   January 6th, 2009 4:28 pm ET

edward sevume - sweden   January 6th, 2009 4:28 pm ET

A good pick if given the chance to serve.
Judging from his wide experience of the medical profession plus fantastic communicational skills, Sanjay should be the right one for the post.
Sad on the other hand for many of us who have maveled on CNN at the way this guy has approached a multitude of subjects ranging from Ebola in the tiniest villages of Cameron to the fantastic operations latest in the conquest of the medical profession – all that on the CNN!

But ofcourse, we hope to see him making well phrased comments this time emanating from the administration, concerning the preservation of mankind! That, depending on whether he lands the post!

Jen   January 6th, 2009 4:28 pm ET

Why did Dr. Gupta stop being a neurosurgeon?

Ken in Los Angeles   January 6th, 2009 4:28 pm ET

I think (with exception of Pinetta)... Obama is making some good choices and is also making a good effort to keep the Republicans involved. Of course, with some readers you are going to get "whine this, and whine that" just because it is Obama who won the election and gets to make these choices.

Get over it and help to contribute making this a better nation.

Robbin   January 6th, 2009 4:28 pm ET

You know I was talking to a lawyer earlier in regards to Obama, and he told me that he believes Obama will actually be bipartisan. He went back to Obama's then election as the first black sit be president of the Harvard law review. He stated that there was a great chasm within the review at the time between liberals and conservatives. Obama proved to both sides that he had their interest at heart. The rest is history. He became Harvard's first African American law review president.

I also predict an activism we haven't seen in awhile with this appointment and, sadly, one we don't need at this time. In fact, I think the position itself (Surgeon General) is superfluous. We have entire agencies involved in healthcare policy.

Sanjay Gupta is a great choice, the ability to communicate information and idea's the public is acritical aspect of this position. And since Mickael Moore is an idiot I'll disregard PBAP's comments.

Eric   January 6th, 2009 4:21 pm ET

He'll make a great S.G., but the fact is Gupta is no supporter or universal health care or anything like it. A mediocre choice by Obama.

Polar Bears Against Palen   January 6th, 2009 4:21 pm ET

This is the second coming of the Clinton Administration. I hope no stained dress pops up.

Alisha, MN   January 6th, 2009 4:21 pm ET

Go Dr. Gupta

NRMD   January 6th, 2009 4:21 pm ET

It is not easy to understand the wisdom unless you are wise. Obama is wise. What is good for America is decided by who is working for it. So far so good and rest depends on who loves this country and support him to come out this big mess without thinking of party politics or sticking to one side of (liberal or conservative) values.

Sam Chandra   January 6th, 2009 4:21 pm ET

Gee, won't he be taking a huge cut in salary to go from CCN correspondent AND neurosurgeon to being the Surgeon General?
It would likely feed his ego though, and that might be reason enough for him to take it.

But he looks so good on TV, the people will love him....

Dave in canada   January 6th, 2009 4:20 pm ET

I think that would be a great choice..We watch CNN all the time in ottawa and i always watch any segment that has Mr Gupta in it

martie   January 6th, 2009 4:20 pm ET

What an amazing choice! Gupta is great, smart and extremely knowledgeable!
Go Obama! You just keep'em coming!

Florence Hare   January 6th, 2009 4:19 pm ET

Just one more GREAT choice for leadership. This physician is dynamic, charismatic and has had his "finger on the pulse" of healthcare in this nation for some time. I think he is a fabulous choice. To Dr. Gupta......SAY YES for this country's benefit....

STL-Vetran   January 6th, 2009 4:19 pm ET

Sanjay Gupta is a great choice, the ability to communicate information and idea's the public is acritical aspect of this position. And since Mickael Moore is an idiot I'll disregard PBAP's comments.

MikeH   January 6th, 2009 4:19 pm ET

Sanjy has to answer to Michael "Buy me another cheeseburger" Moore for his, Sanjay's, attempt to denigrate Moore's movie "Sicko".

While I'm not a great fan of Moore, that movie was much better than his past work, and Sanjay's attempts to trash it not only failed, they backfired and resulted in CNN issuing a retraction/apology.

What was Sanjay thinking, or who was pushing him to say and write what he did? Atone for that, and Sanjay has my support.

(P.S. TCM is a punk idiot kid troll making stuff up. That or he just got out of a psych ward without taking his meds)

iheartsanjay   January 6th, 2009 4:19 pm ET

Dr. Sanjay Gupta is the best! He is a wonderful communicator and would be an awesome surgeon general.

Dr. Gupta does a marvelous job for CNN, , but I think our Country would be in excellent hands if he were the new Surgeon General.

Please accept Dr. Gupta, our Country needs your commitment.

God Bless You Mr. Obama, , ' Keep on, , Keeping On! '

Dr. Gupta is a wonderful choice! He's compassionate, very well-spoken, and already has an impeccable reputation. I hope he accepts.

Professor Neuwave   January 6th, 2009 4:17 pm ET

Been listening to what Sanja has to say for quite a while, and very proud of the intelligent avantgarde way of thinking this new administration is going. Change!! The future is here! Those who can't deal with it are heading toward extinction, and all part of the thinning of the herd/survival of the fittest.

Nice Girl   January 6th, 2009 4:17 pm ET

Sanjay is cool!!

Emilia Jones   January 6th, 2009 4:16 pm ET

Where are the black appointments. Oh! forgive me, where are the dark skinned black appointments. This is our time we should be in the majority in terms of appointments. I am most deffinately not voting for Obama next time.

C - SAN FRANCISCO   January 6th, 2009 4:16 pm ET

Great choice. Go away haters.

From the Heartland   January 6th, 2009 4:16 pm ET

I believe that Dr. Gupta would be a fantastic Surgeon General! His reporting for CNN has been in-depth and has covered a breadth of topics–he would be seen as a true hands-on surgeon general. I also believe that his familiarity with the media would make him very sensitive to avoiding some of the controversial pitfalls that have plagued previous SGs. Dr. Gupta is clearly a brilliant person and a gifted surgeon, and he speaks to the masses in a way that is neither condemning nor condescending.

DR. GUPTA FOR SURGEON GENERAL!!!

bravado in boston   January 6th, 2009 4:15 pm ET

Say Yes and get to work! Get going!

Wow, is this a great time or what?! :)

seg from houston   January 6th, 2009 4:15 pm ET

gupta has had my vote ever since he did impromptu surgery in some tent in iraq. hope he can do both!

Hey @ "Polar Bears Against Palen"....... ITS ......PALIN!

Once again President-elect Obama is brilliant! Who doesn't like Sanjay
Gupta??!

Dr. Gupta, I hope you accept..... America knows and loves you!

Gail   January 6th, 2009 4:14 pm ET

Fantastic choice; well qualified! Impressed with Obama's choice.

Chris   January 6th, 2009 4:14 pm ET

did somebody really just complain about "wishy washy liberals?" isn't most of his cabinet moderate and isn't that what most of the country is? Kudos to him for not falling into hardcore partisan politics.

Jack in Ohio   January 6th, 2009 4:14 pm ET

An excellent choice. Just what the Obama team needs; someone with actual experience within his field.

Cindy   January 6th, 2009 4:14 pm ET

I am not fan of Gupta. I find him very annoying on the morning tube.

Proud American   January 6th, 2009 4:14 pm ET

Wow!! Great choice!
I'd definitely go for it if i was Sanjay!

Emily   January 6th, 2009 4:14 pm ET

I think it would be a great choice. Dr. Gupta has what it takes and more. Go Obama!!!!!!

Harleston   January 6th, 2009 4:14 pm ET

What will we do for our daily dose of health info!!!
We love Dr. Gupta!!!! He's apart of our family's health team.
Obama will take the best and greatest America has to offer.
I guess that's what smart people do.

FactCheck   January 6th, 2009 4:13 pm ET

> What the Hell is going on with Obama? I'm tired of these wishy-washy
> liberal appointments.

Yeah, I guess you are right. Things were so much better under the Bush regime when he would appoint a surgeon general (Holsinger) based on his views on homosexuality, or appoint his counsel (Miers) to the Supreme Court. Let's not forget the heckuva job that former horse trainer did as director of FEMA. Let's get back to the old days!!

bev, Ont. Canada   January 6th, 2009 4:13 pm ET

Congratulations to Dr. Gupta. I hope he gets the appointment. It would be the first time in MY history that I would know the name of the Surgeon General off the top of my head. lol He does amazing work on CNN

john   January 6th, 2009 4:13 pm ET

all right! finally CNN gets some payback for their Obama spotlight for the past 3 years!

norma - Wisconsin   January 6th, 2009 4:12 pm ET

I'm thrilled to death to think Dr. Gupta may be the next Surgeon General. Wow – won't it be nice to see such good looking people as our leaders – all with such beautiful smiles – since we have to look at them a lot anyway – why not appreciate what we see.

Aside from my gushing over the smiles – I truly have loved Dr. Gupta since first seeing him on tv. He has the best personality for getting across the most difficult subjects in medicine, and in laymen terms to where we can all understand the answers thoroughly. My hat's off to him and hopefully he will get the opportunity. What a wonderful man he appears to be. Well, of course, we have to get all the dirt on him first – right?? The Repubs will say "we don't really know him," or "what experience does he have in government," or "who has he been friends with" or "what church does he attend." Darn, here I was all hepped up thinking we had a good guy again. Can't wait to hear what Bill O'Reilly and the rest have dug up. Maybe next time doc!

Lynda in Sebastian, FL   January 6th, 2009 4:12 pm ET

Paging Dr. Gupta! What are you waiting for? You haven't left for the White House yet? GO FOR IT! You will be wonderful in that post!

Steve   January 6th, 2009 4:12 pm ET

I don't really care what Michael Moore says or thinks. I think this is an excellent choice. An excellent communicato rwho does not play a doctor on TV. He really is one! I coudn't care less if my doctor was liberal or conservative, just as long as he/she is a great doctor!

donna   January 6th, 2009 4:12 pm ET

Calm down Polar Bear..it says he was "approached", not that he has accepted the position..even if he does, he is qualified...he didn't just get out of medical school you know...geesh...

LadyD   January 6th, 2009 4:12 pm ET

what's more wishy-washy than the bush administration...Obama has so far appointed many very qualified and knowledgeable people not to mention diversity...how many of those are in the bush administration...give the minorities (whether it be blacks, indian, spanish, etc.) just give them a chance...you know that we can do better than what bush has done...way way better.

MAD   January 6th, 2009 4:12 pm ET

Sounds like a fluff appointment.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, Please don't Mr. President-elect. I am a tested-and-vetted supporter of the incoming administration – and this time, for the first time – its a resounding PLEASE no. There are much much much more qualified people for this very important position than this CNN reporter.

And as for CNN – I sure hope you post this....

Tony   January 6th, 2009 4:11 pm ET

THIS CLOWN IS MORE INTERESTED IN HAVING HIS PICTURE TAKEN AND GIVING INTERVIEW THAN HE EVER WAS IN MEDICINE.

WHAT A POOR CHOICE! WAITING TO HEAR WHAT POSITION OPRAH WILL BE GETTING! SECRETARY OF WEALTH AND HOT AIR?

Ohh snap Doc!! You think you're better than us, huh Doc?? Take your time and please, please, do what's right for you Doc...

LOL – I guess CNN is starting to get the payoffs for supporting Obama – Next is Jack Cafferty as the grumpy old man in the cabinet...

Meh   January 6th, 2009 4:09 pm ET

"Wishy washy"? In what way? The guy's a neurosurgeon, for pete's sake!

Dr. Norm O'Rourke   January 6th, 2009 4:09 pm ET

I have to concur with 'Polar Bears Against Palen' – Dr. Gupta's hatchet job on Michael Moore (following the release of Sicko – which everyone should see!) was the most biased piece I have ever seen on CNN. He is clearly opposed to universal healthcare. How possibly can he be the best person for this post. Kevorkian would be a better choice!!

vic nashville,Tn   January 6th, 2009 4:08 pm ET

Best Best Best Choice

But I want Sanjay to work in CNN

Chicago GOP   January 6th, 2009 4:08 pm ET

I'm somehow reminded of the row over Fox News' objectivity when the Bush administration tapped Tony Snow as press secretary. Parallels. . . parallels. . . . parallels. . .

Ken in NC   January 6th, 2009 4:07 pm ET

Dr. Sanjay Gupta is a good choice for Surgeon General. His work and experience have been highly documented on CNN and he is known world wide for his work.

I am sure there will be some that would disagree and that is fine. They will get over it.

Congratulations on being considered Dr. Sanjay Gupta.

Texas Blue   January 6th, 2009 4:06 pm ET

Brian   January 6th, 2009 4:04 pm ET

Is Gupta the best in the nation though? Or does his political opinion carry some heavy weight here?? Gee, I wonder...

Welcome everyone to the Celebrity Presidency of Barack Hussein Osama...I mean, Obama. Or maybe you hippies would prefer The Clinton White House, part 2.

Alexa   January 6th, 2009 4:04 pm ET

You go Dr. Gupta!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!

PG   January 6th, 2009 4:04 pm ET

Good choice!

s   January 6th, 2009 4:02 pm ET

Gupta is a safe conventional pick. Gupta is smart and would do as he's expected. But believe Howard Dean might have been a better choice. He as the cajones of steel and would fight for the common person. I'd prefer someone that would combact Obama (I voted for him) and not be a instruction taker.

But, like I said Gupta is smart and hope he'll fight and challenge EVERYTHING.

Gupta, good luck if you take it!

AmericaGotItRightThisTime   January 6th, 2009 4:02 pm ET

Sanjay is PERFECT! Once again, I'm impressed!

Marc in Virginia   January 6th, 2009 3:59 pm ET

LOL.. I knew it. This comes as no surprise to anyone who followed your election coverage. You were in the tank for Obama the whole time and now he owes you one. It truly is a "pay-to-play" administration. Who else does Obama owe favors to?

demwit   January 6th, 2009 3:59 pm ET

Good choice! Experience has no place on the Obama team..

Polar Bears Against Palen   January 6th, 2009 3:58 pm ET
