It's amazing how some of these people are actually waiting for a terrorist attack. I was in a diner the other day and the guy in the booth behind me was actually hoping for a terrorist attack on an American city because that was the only way to "wake America up". Sick.

And sorry folks, but Sarah Palin doesn't have a chance in 2012. She may loved by the rabid Republican base, but there aren't enough of you. Polls show that a clear majority of Americans have an unfavorable opinion of her.

Very well said and spot on! After reading these posts for a few days I began to notice a pattern of the same people with the same vile responses no matter the topic of the news story. This really isn't a place for constructive and respectful dialog. Its just a format for people to make divisive, hate filled statements with no consequences or responsibility.

And please "Welcome to the Obama Show" and others like you ... get a life, get a grip, get an education. You people are just sad ... and fortunately in the minority.

Him and his buddy stated the same thing..."the fundamentals of our economy are strong." When home foreclosures start happening in 2004 and continued escalating, that should have been a wake up call for Bush and the rest of his GOP cronies. The other observation is that so many Americans (not the majority of either Democrats or Republicans) are hoping Obama will fail. Sad commentary on the state of politics and its citizenry.

Once again, Gov Palin is proved to be correct in the duties of the VP (along with swearing in the Senate earlier this week, and accepting Obama's resignation letter from the Senate - both done by VP Cheney as the President of the Senate).

One again VP-elect Biden is proved wrong in his understanding of the duties of the VP. Of course, it's easy for simpletons to follow simpletons, even when the facts prove otherwise. Now we're stuck with what we have, and can only "hope" that things will turn out OK. After all, that's all that Obama promised his supporters, "hope and change."

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it will never happen. I know people that have never voted in their lives, but that will register to vote against her should she grace the GOP ticket.

The vast majority of America cannot stomach that woman and she just turns more and more people off as they see the pathetic redneck drama that is her life unfold before them.

Other democracies do not appoint elected officials, their leaders are part of their parliament and must attend and answer questions when parliament is in session and cabinet members are actually elected. Leaders can be "impeached" by a simple non confidence vote; Blago would have been gone and a new election called in days.

There are no earmarks, presdential vetoes and far less corruption in voting procedures. Most are able to run an election in eight weeks. We need to be proud of our country but we need to also appreciate the pride and confidence other nations have in theirs.

Way to go CNN for all the slanted coverage on the person. C N N should reexamine the way the reporters presented the news during this election period....John King should be fired,,,, not given a job for his bad preformance covering this person they call Obama.
