Despite the controversy surrounding President Clinton's pardon of Marc Rich, I believe Mr. Holder is well-qualified to take up the post for which President-Elect Obama has nominated him, and I hope Senator Specter, for whom I've always had a particularly high regard owing to his wide expertise, will get over his partisan fit and vote to support Mr. Holder's nomination. I just e-mailed my Representative (just for his information), both by Senators, and Senator Reid in his capacity as Senate Majority Leader regarding Mr. Holder's nomination.
