MINNEAPOLIS (CNN) – The three-judge panel set to preside over former Republican Sen. Norm Coleman's post-election legal challenge has set January 26 as the start date for the trial, the court announced Friday.

The judges also set January 21 as the date they will hear arguments on Democrat Al Franken's motion to dismiss the legal contest.

Franken came out of the recount 225 votes ahead of Coleman, but Team Coleman maintains hundreds of voters were disenfranchised, and claims many votes may have been counted twice.

Snake eyes... right on....he got beat by a very good comedian... who is a genius... IQ... just because he is funny doesn't mean that he doesn't see the Repub wolf in the Sheep's clothing!

What's Coleman's beef? Franken stole the election fair and square! (or at least as fair as a Democrat is willing to go, which isn't far)

On Nov 5th Coleman was telling Franken he lost so just step aside and be a good loser... Now the tables are turned and Coleman is wasting our tax payer money on his nonsense. I always thought the republicans were fiscal conservatives... I think they just want us to believe that they are. DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO...

Poor Coleman. LOLOLOLOL

Griffin- Would you have the same advice for Franken if the re-counting came up questionable?? Why not let the legal process take its course there smart guy...

SORE LOOSERS.

boered1   January 16th, 2009 4:47 pm ET

the trial will never occur since on the 21st the judge will agree that this is simply a "If I do not get my way I will not let anyone get the job" by Coleman, he has no legal leg to stand on

Can you imagine playing a game of golf or tennis with Coleman? He would fight you every step of the way and argue that fraud occurred just to win. Blech.

Coleman my message for you is you already lost this race, just concede it just simple, just do it.
