WASHINGTON (CNN) - President George W. Bush spent his last full day in office Monday on the phone, extending a farewell to several world leaders, including Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, and former Mexican President Vicente Fox.

Bush spent the weekend at the presidential retreat at Camp David, before returning to Washington for a private dinner Sunday evening with outgoing Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, as well as a brief appearance at a reception for current and former administration staffers.

Bush is expected to fly to his ranch in Crawford, Texas shortly after President-elect Barack Obama is sworn in on Tuesday at noon.

Private meeting with Condi? No, Laura? Hmmm... can't help but recall Ms. Rice calling Bush her husband during a press conference.... very strange to me for a single woman to accidently call her boss her husband.... *shrug*

    Just saying....

...and signing secret legislature to absolve him and his cabal of all their crimes, but we'll only learn of it in a few months. The constitution! Now adjustable.

THE IDIOT FOR THE LAST 8 YEARS IS LEAVING THE WHITE HOUSE NOTHING LESS THAN THE SAME IDIOT. GEORGE BUSH CALLING THE PRESIDENT OF GEORGIA ? ANOTHER IDIOT WHO MESSED UP HIS COUNTRY'S AFFAIRS AND "TRIED" TO FIGHT RUSSIA ! PROBABLY WITH THE MISGUIDED SUPPORT OF GEORGE BUSH. NOW AFTER 8 DISASTROUS YEARS WE HAVE A GOOD IDEA ABOUT THE DEALINGS OF GEORGE BUSH.
WELL, IT SEEMS GEORGE BUSH HAS NOTHING ELSE TO DO BUT CALLING SIMILAR IDIOTS LIKE HIMSELF.
    JUST GO AWAY GEORGE.
BY THE WAY, BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE WHITE HOUSE, AMERICA WOULD LIKE TO KNOW """WHO WAS AND IS RESPOSIBLE FOR THE KILLINGS OF 4227 AMERICAN MILITARY HEROES WHO DIED IN IRAQ BECAUSE OF YOUR MAJOR MISTAKE, LYING TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE"" SOMEONE MUST BE JBROUGHT TO JUSTICE THE SOONER THE BETTER.

So long President Bush you have served us well. The left wants to put you on trial for war crimes. For what? Water boarding some terrorists? Water boarding is pretty extreme but doesn't physically harm the person. I fear that if Bush is arrested and convicted that Obama and the left will see an unprecedented backlash and the country will toil for years and those responsible will reap what they’ve sown. It appears that the left just can’t be humble….even in victory.

James, I don't see any point in this but I'll tell you like I tell everyone else, what power do you think the president (i.e 1 man) really has? DOn't you think congress is at least a little responsible? Or how about the courts for never ruling what was going on as unconstitutional? Get a clue and stop this conspiracy theory crap...I am sick of people acting like Bush did everythin bad AND he was doing it all by himself and pooor democratic controlled congress for past 2 years was just out of the loop...READ HOW GOV'T WORKS THEN MAKE A COMMENT!

I just want to thank Pres. Bush for all the laughs over the years. Good luck in your next chapter. Even thought I think you're the worst president in modern history, I think somewhere deep down you're a good person...just a bit misguided and a bit of a doormat for other republicans
