(CNN) – Vice President Dick Cheney will be in a wheelchair during Tuesday's Presidential Inauguration, after pulling a muscle in his back while moving, White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said

CNN YOU ARE IDIOTS AND I CAN'T WAIT TILL YOU GO UNDER! YOU WAIT A FEW MONTHS AND YOU WILL GO BANKRUPT!

IL voter   January 20th, 2009 3:43 am ET

10 bucks says he injured himself by flipping a mover "the bird" with just TOO much enthusiasm.

Ed   January 20th, 2009 3:39 am ET

Dick Cheney is very lucky he is only in a wheelchair for a short time. There are thousands of soldiers from the Iraq war who will never walk again. He started that war. It is fitting that he gets to see what if feels like to be in a wheelchair on his last day in office.

republicans=bush=ha8   January 20th, 2009 3:36 am ET

Why isn't he in handcuffs yet? Is not against the law to destroy our country? How could have horrible people voted for his Hitler ticket before?

Besides how did he pull his back moving something, he moved an army in to Iraq with out pulling his finger..

Vegas Boy   January 20th, 2009 3:35 am ET

Pleeeeeezzzeee!!! Anyone who believes he's actually doing any physical work needs to get a check up... This is just one more lie before leaving office.. How pathetic!

Steve   January 20th, 2009 3:33 am ET

He should be in prison, wheelchair and all.

justin   January 20th, 2009 3:28 am ET

wow, he moved. usually he just stays in one place and ruins the country?

J.V.Hodgson   January 20th, 2009 3:26 am ET

This man is despicable.
He does not even want to stand on his own two feet and shake the hand of the next president of the USA.
I would remind him that the president of the USA Roosevelt, ( polio victim) dragged himself to his feet and told his war time respective chiefs of staff ." Do not tell me what cannot be done tell me how it can be done!"
Thank god its bye bye Cheney and his demagogic and dictatorial ideals.
Regards,
Hodgson.

Tomkat in Seattle   January 20th, 2009 3:23 am ET

Sounds like he injured himself moving boxes of top secret torture confessions from his office to the shredder. Makes a great excuse that he doesn't have to look a man of honor (President Obama) in the eye. I hope this man goes to prison for his evil. America needs to take a rape shower on Jan 20th to cleanse the BUSH administration off. Repubs will pay dearly for years to come for this debacle. Mark my words! M2C

Erwin   January 20th, 2009 3:21 am ET

How ironic or rather fitting,...Please man "It truly is time to take a seat"

leon & malclave– I'm not a "liberal", but I do think Dick Cheney is one of the biggest crooks on the face of the earth. If you paid attention not only the last 8 years, but also all the years he was at Halliburton, then you would know what a crooked devious scumbag the guy is.

echeweozo   January 20th, 2009 3:17 am ET

he will end up in prison real soon

Donny Osmond   January 20th, 2009 3:15 am ET

Malclave,

Your post seems like the most hateful comment on here. As both Conservative and Liberal leaders have stated, now is not a time for divisive actions, but rather a time for a unified effort to benefit the country we all love. Things are bad enough already we don't need to be fighting internally over unimportant things. Just remember: Hate begets hate.

paul c in san diego   January 20th, 2009 3:06 am ET

LOL, malcave, stop smoking that PCP, makes you stupid man! Or maybe you were born that way with that pitiful and downright laughable post filled with personal paranioa, right wing talking points and complete nonsense. It's sore losers like YOU that are full of hate, bitterness, denial and basic sanity. Get over it, your agenda is history and thankfully loudmouthed morons like you are in the minority. So keep yelling at the train long after it has left the station. Spend tomorrow with your other Ann Coulter loving inbred hicks and wallow in your own self pity and hate, America isn't listening to filth like your kind anymore.

skullsoup432   January 20th, 2009 3:02 am ET

TO BAD HE AND BUSH WEREN'T IN NOOSES.

Brent A. Pope   January 20th, 2009 3:02 am ET

Weak back , Strong mind (of a crimminal). I'll give you 5 stars for saving money on moving expenses.
How low can you go. Can't even employ a moving company to provide Americans just a tad of income.
He will probably try to collect a disability check from Socal Securty or Workmans Comp. on top of his GOLDEN PARACHUTE we all will pay for.

Rob   January 20th, 2009 2:59 am ET

He finally found an excuse not to stand up to honor Obama on inauguration day, how convenient!

Tracy   January 20th, 2009 2:34 am ET

Cheney doing his own moving? I doubt it. He probably didn't trust anyone else to move all the "secret files" he has refused to disclose all these years.

Wes   January 19th, 2009 11:42 pm ET

This man was Bush's puppeteer. We can't even begin to imagine the amount of shady deals and criminal activities this man conducted by controlling that moron named Walker. He used the constitution and Bush's beloved Bible as toilet paper while laughing all the way to the bank. I sure hope Pelosi and Reid have the character and bravery to investigate the role this man played inside the white house during this 8 years... but, I'm not holding my breath.

wendy   January 19th, 2009 11:38 pm ET

He has pulled a lot more than a muscle. I think he is too much of a coward to stand up and look any one in the eye! He will need to live with his lies for all the years to come. How horrible that he has caused so many to so many people. I am so glad we are on a path to change! The last 8 years have been miserable!

hahahahaha   January 19th, 2009 11:21 pm ET

"Cheney pulled a muscle while moving, according to the White House."

Wow.

malclave   January 19th, 2009 11:17 pm ET

Wow, you liberals just can't let go of your hatred, can you?

Is there a single liberal, anywhere, who has a soul?

Not that this comment will see the board, since CNN supresses anything that doesn't involve the liberal Kool-Aid.

kravitz   January 19th, 2009 11:14 pm ET

he should let all the lies and secrets out. all that stress made him pull a muscle. or he figures sitting down makes it harder to be a wife in jail.

Jeff   January 19th, 2009 11:14 pm ET

oh, pleeze. Cheney does his own moving. hahahah!!! Not.

lets play nice   January 19th, 2009 11:13 pm ET

Good.

Leon   January 19th, 2009 11:12 pm ET

I see the grade school idiots are still yammering. Your man won and I think he will do a good job so why don't you grow up?

RK   January 19th, 2009 11:11 pm ET

OMG, he IS Dr. Strangelove!

Keith in CA   January 19th, 2009 11:10 pm ET

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Sweet Fangs   January 19th, 2009 11:07 pm ET

A Wheelchair ?? My husband is in constant pain and has been for years.,because of a back injury which the crooked insurence co. didnot help him out at all. Sorry but i have no tears for that real hard working slob !!!!!! That loves war so much. who can't even go bird hunting without shooting his good friend in the face. all i got to say is waaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

Greg Hodges   January 19th, 2009 11:07 pm ET

I hope someday the world will know everything this man did behind closed doors over the last 8 years. Thank God he can do no more damage.

Dale Woodruff   January 19th, 2009 11:06 pm ET

I just have a hard time imagining these guys moving their own furniture.

thearbanmethod   January 19th, 2009 10:18 pm ET

Oh...I thought he pulled a muscle trying to smile.

michaelbraun   January 19th, 2009 9:58 pm ET

Cheney is in such poor health that the simple act of moving (what? Raising his arms? Walking to the bathroom?) puts him in a wheelchair. Oh my.

Dan   January 19th, 2009 9:36 pm ET

Perfect.

Terry   January 19th, 2009 9:33 pm ET

Did you ever wonder why it's only a SMALL percentage of Americans that think Bush & Cheney should be in jail? Congress didn't find anything wrong or there would have been an impeachment. Bush waited FIVE months after the DEMOCRATIC congress approved a declaration of war before he sent the troops in. Perhaps all of congress should be arrested and jailed? Sorry to burst a bunch of bubbles, but the truth is the truth. Study your history.

I wish Cheney s speedy and complete recovery.

kg   January 19th, 2009 9:15 pm ET

Who's Dick Cheney? Was he vice president? Oh yeah, I remember seeing every once in a while!

Stac   January 19th, 2009 9:14 pm ET

hmmmm....looking for some sympathy????

Alan   January 19th, 2009 9:14 pm ET

I'm sorry he's not feeling well. I'm sorry he's in a wheelchair; I wish he were in prison.

momma   January 19th, 2009 9:14 pm ET

Cheney is so low that he is using this "excuse" so he does not have to stand up for the next ..(and much better) President
