WASHINGTON (CNN) - Outgoing President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney were formally introduced on the inaugural stand at the Capitol's west front at 11:36 am ET.

The president's arrival was accompanied by the song "Hail to the Chief."

Boos were reported from many in the crowd by the Lincoln Memorial, and at the start of the Pennsylvania Avenue parade route, when the president and vice president appeared on the jumbotron screens broadcasting the event.
