Cindy McCain’s two worst days

CNN

Watch Meghan McCain on CNN.

(CNN) - It was a long and grueling presidential campaign, but two days were particularly hard for Cindy McCain.

In an interview with CNN, daughter Meghan Mcain said the two worst days for her mother were Election Day and October 17 - the day the New York Times published a lengthy and largely critical profile of Mrs. McCain.

"The New York Times profile of her came out which I think was a hard day for everyone," Meghan McCain said. "It was a very, in my opinion, not a very good article. It was actually being used in journalism classes as an example of the poor profile on someone, no one ever interviewed her. And it was a very hard thing to read."

It seems as if your mother is teaching you to do exactly as she does. Lie and cheat. The American people showed your mother on November 4, 2008 we don't want/like house wreckers and liars. As far as the NY Times goes–I'm sure she's heard a lot worse. Please both of you go away!

Awwww – poor little baby. Wonder how she would have handled those days if she was broke and had no job and not even one house. Spoiled little snit, isn't she? No one forced her to steal those drugs.

Why the heck is CNN talking to her? Her father lost. Nobody cares what she thinks. This is not news worthy and definitely shouldn't be on the political ticker!

OH PUHLEEZ, enough with the "victim" act here. Republicans are quick to cry "boo-hoo" every time their true colors show. I mean really, get over yourselves and move on. Cindy McCain is NOT a saint, and the fact that she is portrayed for the things she's done in her past is to be expected. Bottom line. Just like she KNEW John McCain was STILL LEGALLY MARRIED but entered into an affair with him anyways!!!!

Folks need to start realizing that "WHAT GOES AROUND, COMES AROUND". If you don't like the DIRT that dished out on YOU, then don't DO THE DIRT IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! I have NO sympathy when it comes to the lack of credibility of Cindy McCain. None.

Who? Mrs. McCain? The tycoon and fashion queen?

Empty-minded vase sitting on McCain's dresser. "No interview" is right. Because she never knows how to present herself or the wealthy family. What did the $$$$ bring to her?

Too late, Megan. Now no matter what you say to efend your mom, we are happy that it is not Cindy who would dance on the inauguration ball floors...

OH PUHLEEZ, enough with the "victim" act. NO ONE is buying this foolishness. Cindy McCain KNEW since day one that EVERYTHING she's ever done would be scrutinized by the media and everyone else when your husband is a politician. Bottom line. This is just so silly of Meghan to play the "my poor mommy routine".

Republicans once again are quick to cry "boo-hoo" every time their true colors show. I mean really, get over yourselves and move on. Cindy McCain is NOT a saint, and the fact that she is portrayed for the things she's done in her past is to be expected. Bottom line. Just like she KNEW John McCain was STILL LEGALLY MARRIED but entered into an affair with him anyways!! Hello? What did she expect? A cookie?

  13. Greed is not good

Too bad...Cindy knowingly committed a sin by letting John cheat on his poor first wife before they even got a divorce. They could have done the decent thing and waited until they were divorced rather than cheating on the her...despite the fact she waited for him while John was a POW.

If Mrs. Clinton was as thin skilled as Mrs McCain is, she (Clinton) would have slit her wrist.

Senator and Cindy McCain can be very proud of their daughter. She is an intelligent girl.

Cindy McCain was portrayed poorly. No one ever bothered to look at her charity work, or the fact that she has raised a wonderful family too.

Wel cookie, youpretty much have to say that. I was glad to hear about the embezzling and drug problems. That makes your mom unacceptable for the role of First Lady. Her incredible lapses of conscience ($30,000.00 outfit) was just gravy. Her hateful convention remarks were the final nail in the coffin.

Funny how they've been disagreeing with the Moron in Chief for the past 8 years tho, huh? Wasn't state run media then, was it? Perhaps they just think your outdate neocon Republican idiocy is just that...idiocy.

She's as bad as Sarah Palin. The election is over- get a real job!

Perhaps Cindy McCain and Sarah Palin should host their own show.......'Hindsight'!!
Cindy would do herself and her family well to clean herself up and talk a 'higher road' as her husband seems to be doing for the moment. Ignoring non-complimentary news articles is the only way to get it to go away......the more you complain (can Sarah hear??) the more the same issue will remain.

WTH...The McCains can't keep their mouth shut! Do you see Cheslee Clinton on TV who father did much more for the country. Cindy McCain is a barbie, pill popper and I'm sick of the McCains all together. If Cindy McCain had become first lady OMG what a disaster that would have been, even more if her husband would have become President.

I am a dem, I NEVER had a bad opinion of Cindy. She does a lot of great work, and is very attractive. She had a drug problem... who cares. She faced it. She had nothing to do with my for for OBAMA.

  23. Cynic

She (Cindy McCain) was part of big time presidential politics, and you can count on getting psycho-profiled without a formal interview. The New York Times profile came from a compilation of interviews, and articles, that have been done. The New York Times didn't claim the profile was an interview, a profile is a mini bio that can be done with existing materials. "The truth hurts", a cliche that sometimes hits right on, and this time it was.

Cindy McCain lost any chance of sympathy once she started dogging Michele Obama.
Cindy said a lot of nasty things about Michelle, she also had her talking heads (Elisabeth from the View being a strong one) out in full force against Michelle.
I feel no pity at all for Cindy. I'm actually laughing at her whining.
Go buy another house, Cindy – it'll cheer you up. LOL

Sad fact is if Michelle Obama was Cindy McCain Obama would not be president today. If Michelle was a ex- drug user and thief the media would have destoryed her. Cindy McCain and Sarah Palin are cut from the same cloth. Nice suits, but empty.
