Cindy McCain’s two worst days

Watch Meghan McCain on CNN.

(CNN) - It was a long and grueling presidential campaign, but two days were particularly hard for Cindy McCain.

In an interview with CNN, daughter Meghan Mcain said the two worst days for her mother were Election Day and October 17 - the day the New York Times published a lengthy and largely critical profile of Mrs. McCain.

"The New York Times profile of her came out which I think was a hard day for everyone," Meghan McCain said. "It was a very, in my opinion, not a very good article. It was actually being used in journalism classes as an example of the poor profile on someone, no one ever interviewed her. And it was a very hard thing to read."

    Real sipmle.
27% of the public thinks Bush was a good president, believes the Fox media, claims the rest of the media that doesn't agree with them is biased, and want Obama to fail (if not now they soon will by watching Fox spread their lies and deception). They are like a festering boil of puss. The Democratic Party wants us all to unite, these fringe people never will. But their generation is limited.

    To ~ Mike, Syracuse NY ~ you forgot the heavy hitters;
Schrock, Cuningham, Scooter, Foley, Craig, Vitter, Abermoff, Hyde, Gingerich, Stevens (7x felon), Swaggart, Jim Baker, etc., etc.,

Wow. For a bunch of folks who expect the right to get over their loss, unify under Pres Obama, and not be sore losers, the left sure retains a lot of pent up emotions. Hateful, actually.

All of this information was already dissected in the public. When people run for public office, all the dirt on them and their spouses is brought out. Cindy had no problem disparaging Barack Obama. She was vicious. Now, when reporters tell some of her deep, dark secrets she is aghast. Good riddance.

While everyone is talking about this historical moment, I am curious to know the whereabouts of Condeleeza Rice, Former Secretary of State. Howcome CNN has not spoken or interviewed her regarding her thoughts and views of a new American System of Government. I mean, she is an African American and yet, she did not participate in the ceremonies or the process.

Thanks for responding to the American people.

When Democrats start treating conservatives with the same respect and dignity that they want for themselves, maybe I'll start listening. Till then – hypocrite! hypocrite! hypocrite! I despise you folks. You make a pretence toward being oh-so-open and oh-so-tolerant. But never in the history of this country has there been a more hypocritical bunch than the lot of you. Even the Messiah couldn't find kind words to say about Bush, like keeping us safe after 911 or sending 15 billion of our tax dollars to Africa to fight AIDS. And you want me to hope the the Messiah's policie succeed? Hah! I'd rather tha country go broke and still have individuals ready to take risk, who hate political correctness, who are willing to form alliances with others born of mutual interest for the betterment of their private-sector world than usher in a socialized medicinized opiated reverse-bigoted incivil henri bergeronish 1984ish world that seems to be what the Messiah is all about. Go Limbaugh! And may conservatives finally start differentiating themselves from Republicans who want to get along with people who don't deserve it. Again – you want me to give the Messiah a chance? You start first: you start acting like civilized people and I'll listen to you. Till then – I hope you lo-o-o-ve your racist rap artists who speak for the Messiah without him saying a word like, "Knock it off, won't you?" NOW THAT would be a breath of fresh air.

The Times article was balanced-it did mention her charity work as well as her foibles. It did not get a lot of play on the "liberal" networks at all. I understand that she spends most of her time OUT of Washington and in Arizona by choice...they have a weekend marriage, but that is their choice. But once you are a nominee for President, everything is scrutinized. The 24 hour news cycle demands fodder, so candidates are dissected for anything that even might be news (or interesting.) If the rabid right couldn't muster the goods on Obama, I think there's nothing there.

Does no one remember the hateful things said and still being said about Michelle? They misquoted her "really proud of my country" to read "proud of my country" and Rush and Hannity had a ball with that.

Could it also be that the Obamas have been faithful to each other, love each other, and are actually putting country first by doing things, not just by talking?

I am hopeful that Obama has positive ideas to move the country forward, and that he will drag the right, kicking and screaming, along. Whatever will you do if we leave Iraq, stop torturing, and indict Bush and Cheney for war crimes? What will you talk about if the stimulus, or time, begins to right the economy? Gosh, there won't be a Lewinski this time around to whet your appetite for Democratic carnage.

I live in AZ. Cindy Mc has NEVER had a bad day in her life!!! Except maybe the day she married John Mc. She is a very, very spoiled rich girl who was an only child and got EVERYTHING she wanted! Go back a watch the debates. She even pushed John into President Obama and Michelle just so she wouldn't have to shake hands with them!!! Soooo ironical now that she has to shake his had and be nice to Michelle!! Cindy also thinks she can control this state and rides around in car with plates that say Miss BUD. John is not much better but he is now a defeated old man and he has to "make nice" too!!! They should both retire to their mansion in Sedona and leave us and our broken state and school system alone to clean up the mess they have made!!!

  17. New York Times is a Rag

Anybody that gets ripped by the New York Times ought not to lose a minute of sleep. The NY Times has been sliding downhill for a decade with shoddy journalism, factually inaccurate stories; sleazy yellow journalism; partisan politics at its worst, and just plain imcompetence. Cindy McCain ought to wear the NY Times criticism as a badge of honor. Fortunately for the public's sake, the NY Times will be out of business before brack Obama leaves office.

Maybe it was how the inauguration and lack of respect you dems showed to our exiting president, especially the crises he had to deal with and you dems speak of negativity and hatred. Laughable at best.

Let's face it, they aren't the nicest or worst people. Just let them ride off into the sunset.

In regard to Sarah Palin's attacks on her father, she says she doesn't want to look back and won't comment but instead move forward. Then she goes on to look back at her mother's treatment by the media.

You can't have it both ways, toots.
