Palin looking for book deal?

Palin has reportedly hired a powerful DC attorney
Palin has reportedly hired a powerful DC attorney

(CNN) - Could Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin be coming to a bookstore or television near you?

Palin has reportedly hired a powerful Washington, DC attorney who has successfully landed lucrative media deals for other political rock stars, a signal the former Republican vice presidential candidate may be interested in further expanding her media exposure in the coming months.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Palin has secured the services of Robert Barnett, the Washington lawyer who negotiated highly profitable book deals for Bill and Hillary Clinton. (Bill Clinton was paid $10 million by Alfred A. Knopf publishing to write his memoirs and Hillary Clinton garnered $8 million by Simon & Schuster to write hers.)

Barnett has also negotiated book deals for President Obama and Obama campaign manager David Plouffe, and has landed lucrative television contracts for many high-profile network anchors and correspondents.

Barnett would not confirm or deny that he is now working for Palin. Palin's office did not respond to a request for comment.

Several publishers have said Palin could fetch up to $7 million to write a book about her unlikely VP bid, and could rake in millions more as a television host after her gubernatorial term ends in 2010.

But should Palin decide on a presidential run, federal election regulations would almost certainly keep her from hosting a television show.

I hope she has a good editor and/or ghost writer...otherwise it's going to read like Jabberwocky meets Wernicke's Aphasia. Seroius

She can barely pull off the English language, how the heck will she be able to write a book? Would it go something like this?:

"Well Katy Kurik and the whole liberal media really sent a wrong message of who I Sarah Palin Governor/Regulator/Mavrick who said no to the bridge to no where and likes to shake things up that ur asking me those GOTCHA questions ya know im not going to respond to that thats not what the good americans in those pro american parts of the country want to hear."

***GOOD GOD CNN, WILL PLEASE POST SOMETHING OF MINE?!**

Why not write a book? Strike while the iron is hot, as they say. I don't know what kind of Vice President she would have made (and neither does anyone else), but it is an interesting story. I suppose everyone on here will wonder why CNN keeps writing about her. It's because, like her or not, she will be a political player in the future if she chooses to be. So, CNN must write about her and take every opportunity to trash her (although I must admit, they don't do it here). She's hated by the left because she represents every road the leftist feminists will not – and cannot -take: strength, accomplishment without help, femininity, attractiveness, motherhood, etc. They question her desire to bring a child into the world that they consider less than perfect. Never mind that it's her CHOICE. Oh, I forgot, choice only matters when your child is inconvenient. What's a little homicide among family?

This woman has a very huge EGO! She needs to think about going back to school before taking the step of trying to write a book. What will it say. A lot of YaBetcha's, dontcha Ya Git it – I need the attention because I'm pretty. Give me a break this lady needs to go away and if the people of AK reelect this idiot it will be shame on their state. She's a disgrace to the true America Intelligent Women!

Let's face it, Sarah Palin has shown more strength for the women's movement than other notables that the liberals love. Sarah has come from a meager beginning, educated herself, raised a family, built a strong political career, and is now Gov of one of the most important states in our country when it comes to energy. What has Hillary done? Let's see... stayed with her philandering (when most strong women would have left) only because she new he was her ticket to some office, carpet bagged her way to New York so she could get an easy Senate seat, and attempted to win the Presidency by playing the "blame game" on everyone else. That sounds pretty weak to me, but for some reason people think she is stronger than Sarah Palin. I say you need a wake-up call.

She will definitely need a ghost writer – the woman can barely talk, let alone write. But I am sure there are idiots abounding who will be delighted to read her book. I will not be one of them.

Let me get this right...she REFUSED the offer of attending the inauguration with her running mate because there wasn't enough money, but she has enough money to hire a "powerful Washington, DC attorney who has successfully landed lucrative media deals for other political rock stars".

Exactly what is interesting about her "story"? Nothing that I can tell. She hasn't done anything really interesting – no troubled background to overcome, nothing like that.

I think Gov. Palin should start reading newspapers and learn about current events instead of writing a book of failure to show was truly qualified to lead our nation if needed.

Gov. Palin, LEARN from your mistakes. Don't just ignore them !

My sympathies to the proof reader. Better find one that knows how to replace the g's in the words she's sayin'.
And knows how to put them in the right order...
And is prepared for the jumbled run-on sentences...

Oh!! She can call it: The Audacity of Dopes.
