(CNN) - As Gov. Rod Blagojevich's impeachment trial proceedings got under way Monday, the embattled Illinois governor hit the media circuit, answering questions about Oprah, foul language and why he isn't resigning.
Blagojevich appeared Monday on ABC's "Good Morning America" and "The View," and gave his first live prime-time interview on CNN's "Larry King Live."
"I'm not guilty of any criminal wrongdoing," Blagojevich, who is accused of trying to sell President Obama's former Senate seat, told King. "I'm entitled to a presumption of innocence."

So Idiot Think it so is he
Put a hold on his paycheck.......he'll show up in court then. Don't need to be paying someone with taxpayers' dollars to be crazy and evasive.
Blagojevich is the Democrat’s Palin. He doesn’t know when to keep his mouth shut.
I am sure that a book deal will be next. The very small book. "Deathless wisdom of Rod Blagojevich in one four letter word".
Blagojevich is conveniently forgetting that the impeachment had only one opposing vote. If it had been close, I could see party politics, but really, who does he think he's fooling? Enough red herrings and the state of Illinois will forget he tried to sell the Senatorial seat?
He needs to get off the TV, and participate in the proceedings at home. But maybe he is auditioning for a TV show once they remove him from office? Blagojevich's Whines?
Oh, Meg, if you are talking about the trial in the Illinois Congress, that's decided by a vote of the membership. If you are talking about the Federal charges, odds are that won't go to court if he is removed from office, and if it goes to trial, there will definitely be a change in venue. Although we are all hearing about him, the key to being selected for a jury is whether you are biased one way or the other. I'd love it if they brought his trial here to Texas! We could use the comic relief.
***If the taxpayers of Illinois are paying one cent to help this moron tour the TV circuit, he should be prosecuted for theft.***
What a narcissistic crook! Reminds me of Clinton's definition of the word "if". Hurry up with the impeachment hearing.
sure he's a total d-bag, but what exactly is this evidence they have against him? Innocent until guilty
This guy has gianormous balls. Pure and simple. I can't believe he's not in jail.
Listening to Blogo and reviewing the facts it is starting to look like the Illinois Legislature is conducting a witch hunt.
Way to go Illinois......you just keep on looking corrupt!
insane
It used to be the American way to be fair and wait until there is proof of guilt or innocence. What has happened to that?
Welcome to the government world. People like Gov. Rod Blagojevich vote for these kind of rules for the military and other government agencies (Where you are guilty until proven innocent). Now let him see how it feels, all of the headaches, frustration, time & money spent spent to prove otherwise.
