(CNN) - Moments after removing him from office, the Illinois senate voted unanimously to prevent impeached Gov. Rod Blagojevich from ever holding political office in the state again.

The Illinois house voted 114 -1 to impeach Blago and the Senate 59-0. Was there a conspiracy in the legislature to impeach the guy?... With these numbers, I think not! Peace out Blago, don't get your hair in a ruffle
This scares me... What Blagojevich has been accused of is pretty slimy but lets be clear, they are accusations and nothing more. The Illinois State legislature got all of this like 5 minutes ago and now has become judge and jury in a snap. The idea that they ran him out of town is to me a clear violation of the constitution. What they did can now be seen by other states as..."we don't like the gov. so lets impeach him".... This is a Democracy not a dictatorship that runs kangaroo courts....
