Palin lying low during Washington trip

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin speaks at the meeting of the National Governor's Association in December.
Alaska Governor Sarah Palin speaks at the meeting of the National Governor's Association in December.

WASHINGTON (CNN) – Sarah Palin has firmly remained in the media spotlight since her bid for the vice presidency ended four months ago, but the Alaska governor embraced a decidedly lower profile when she traveled to the nation's capital this weekend.

The former Republican vice presidential candidate has scheduled a busy itinerary of closed-door events and face time with congressional Democrats and Republicans.

She also announced earlier this week she's making the 4,500-mile trek from Alaska to Washington primarily to attend the Alfalfa Club Dinner Saturday night - an annual closed-door roast of the nation's political elite.

But it's what's missing from Palin's schedule that is causing more than a few heads to turn. In a city that is ground-zero for national political journalists, Palin has not scheduled a single media interview or indicated she will hold a press conference.

"she is the governor of a state: who are you : a bunch of hourly paid commoner that do not have the guts to accomplish what she accomplished in her life."

I had the guts to finish college on time. I only attended one, too–not five. But thanks for the generalization.

There is an impending major disaster in her home state and she goes off to party and rally support for a political move. That's Caribou Barbie!

What will REALLY be funny, is when she runs for President in 2012 and she beats Obama hands down! The reason the libs hate her is because she is smart AND good looking. The libs aren't sure what to make of that as they have never seen that before.

Palin was the most popular state governor when chosen as the V.P. candidate. A lot of the attacks on her are purely sexist, or over stupid little mistakes similar to those Obama and everyone else makes. I don't agree with her on religion and issues like abortion and stem cell research, but she has a right to her opinions and she also gets first amendment protections. She is a bright and capable individual, and people are just mean-spirited towards her.

I do hope that she changes her mind and campaigns as the front runner in 2012. Her hate mongering of this past election season may have lost a bit of its luster by then and the majority of the world may need to be reminded of why it distrusts and hates Conservative America(ns); and rightly so.

Treasury Secretary can't pay his taxes = handful of lefty posts.

Former Dem Senator for Health Secretary can't pay his taxes = handful of lefty posts.

Sarah Palin = more lefties than you can shake a stick at.

You leftist 'tards are real good at slinging poo.

I predict your time in power will be short.

    Ain't it cool?

Did one of you say Sarah Palin is smarter than Caroline Kennedy? Where is the evidence. Caroline is graduate of Columbia Law School and Sarah? The company she keeps? Joe 6-pack and Joe the plumber.
Let's leave the woman alone. She didn't ask for this – John McCain did.

The comments show what losers members of the Democrat Party really are. The are lucky that the media did not like her and the phony feminists were intimidated by her. She has all of the traits necessary to be a successful president and a good human being at the same time. Not one of the current administration people have any of these traits. The left leaning media, the socialist politicians and slavering special interest groups that make up the left are pathetic.

That is because she has a big backlog of People magazines to read and has not yet finished her mail order geography course. You know she has to keep her priorities in order.

Kryptonite is to Superman as Katie Couric is to Sarah Palin.
Intelligent republicans are insulted as to why more, or rather, an intelligent woman was not picked. No matter what we say the backwards members of the republican party, those with low IQs, are going to like her. She speaks the same language they do.

Long after Obama has retired and written his memoirs, Palin will be in national headlines – and quite possibly, leading the country.

Take a look at some of the video footage depicting the bigotry, racism and hate of Palin supporters throughout the campaign. Be proud that you are one of these people.

She would never suceed if she were to try to run in 2012 as most people view her as unintelligent, uninformed and divisive. She bombed so badly in her first media interviews that she will not be able to turn that around and convince people that she knows anything. Her overplaying of her accent and constant winking do not help either. I am a professional woman who finds her need to try to get by on her "cuteness" offensive to all women who want to be judged by their brains. Her divisive comments during the campaign also reveal a disgusting lack of character. I cannot wait for her downfall to become complete so we do not have to look at her or listen to her brainless attempts to remain relevant anymore. I do wish the media would quit covering her every move for entertainment value.

The same ones that come here and complain about how Gov Palin is treated are more than likely the SAME ones that post negative stuff here daily about President Obama. As usual you on the right can dish it out but can't take it. There is a news site that you can visit that gives you what you want and I think you all know where that is.

Huff Post – there is more to this story!

Palin is the guest of Republican black arts operative Malek – who thought Dan Quayle was a great choice for America's VP! Of course he helped the Bushes into power too, after escaping Watergate prosecutors somehow as former Dep. Dir. of Nixon's CREEP.

In many ways, this is a make-or-break trip for her....nailinpalinnow.blogspot.com/.....Please visit if you are interested in more info and links on Sarah's "big date" with Malek
