karol: No he isn't Obama. Obama isn't black he's half. and half. Steele is 100% black and there is a difference between Steele and Obama. Steele could run this country but Obama needs all the help he can get from Clinton's administration. Why do you think he appointed them. All the president' s before Obama didn't need help they knew what to do from day one. Get a grip and study politics.

What is this and why is this news. No wonder the country cannot unit and fix the current problems. We're too focused on what the GOP Congressional Group is doing. Well I can answer that NOTHING. They did NOTHING while the economy was tanking and the elections were preceeding. They did NOTHING when they knew McCain lost and they continue to do NOTHING. Why are they news CNN?

kayla: At the rate Obama's going he's lucky to make it through four years. As I told one commentor Obama forgot to take his brains with him after he graduated Harvard. That's why he always muttered and stuttered when answering questions. He is no match for Steele and I would love to see a debate between both of them. The problem with the democrats Steele is putting a fear into them and they are getting nervous. You should read all the messages on Fox and you would really find out what they think of Obama plus his failure in choosing two of the wrong people.

Steele needs to ask himself if he would have gotten this position if President Obama wasn't president. Steele is just a token to go against President Obama for the Republicans and when they use him up, he will be put out to pasture.

drink anyone? That's what you should be asking Obama. If I am corredt he was one of the biggest boozers and druggers in his time. Maybe that's why he has trouble choosing the right people for his administration. You know it takes brains to think and like I stated prior he left them at Harvard. First it was Richardson then Dashle now a woman. All in trouble. I wonder who is next to go.

O He_ L, He must be Obama. A GOP Obama. Lord have mercy on the GOP. This is the MOST STUPID THING THE GOP HAS DONE. They think all America is stupid. We can definitely see through that one.

I am presently watching MSNBC Hardball regarding the Daschele situation. I cannot believe that an article in the NY times brought this man to tears [per hardball host chris matthews] to resign. What makes their credibility so strong in the light that they are trying to sell newspapers to survive in an on-line world?
Mr. Daschele has not done what many other americans have done or what any of his many peers have done. This is a venial Is there anyone left in washington who is so squeaky clean AND QUALIFIED?
I am sure the next target will be President Obama. Has news reporting stooped to the level of the National Enquirer and other trash news media? I think so. And it is led by MSNBC Hardball!
What happened to the unity majority [of both parties and the people] that elected this administration? I would love to see a public opinion poll for the acceptance of Mr. Daschele and for other decisions going on in DC. I thought President Obama was going to be our first internet savy president and use this on-line public opinion. This news broadcasting is more of the same old same old. Bush could not do anything right and the news media is telling us neither can the Obama administration. When is the news industry going to grow up and start to present the facts and not the controversy???
God bless Ameria! We need all the help we can get.

ex illinois man: Because he doesn't stutter when he talks. He knows what to day without a script and doesn't use other people words that's why he is better. He dresses better, talks better and knows more. That's why Biden wants to be in the same room as Obama when he is talking to world leader's because he knows Obama may make the wrong statement causing tension between us and them.

  12. Loud Mouth?

He was such a loudmouth beating down on President Obama during the last presidential campaigns – we'll see if he has the "what-it-takes" to handle leadership responsibilities... talk is cheap!

    We're watching.

Steele is nothing but "Chair" of the RNC. That does not put him anywhere near the white house. To those who think that the GOP will nominate a black man "Steele" for president in 2012, you must be on another planet. I don't see the GOP nominating a minority or a woman for president any time soon. Steele is nothing but a poster boy of the GOP and only highlights their hypocrisy. The GOP is and remains the party of Rich White Men.

James: Thank god he's no Obama. I can't imagine another one in politics. One is enough and that's too much. Steele don't need to learn from Obama, Obama can learn from him. I would love to see Steele run against Obama in an election. Steele means what he says and says what he means. He is ready for action not just words like Obama did on the platform duping the american people. And I mean he really duped them. If the democrats think he's going to do what he said guess again. Plus he's a baby killer because he agrees to abortions. God may have to help us before the year is up.

    Congratulations, Mr. Steele.

I'd warn you that the Democrats play dirty, but you already know that from when the Senate Democrat Campaign Committee fraudulently obtained your credit history because Democrats just can't stand seeing a racial minority that they don't control.

gracie: How would you know? Do you have an abusing husband that's republican? What makes you think the dummycrats are not abusing the american people with their bailouts of millions of dollars to company's that should know how to keep their accounts. Get a grip and read more on what's going on. I agree with the republican party for not wanting bailouts. Why should our tax money bail them out. Let them find a way out. How about the people that owe thousands of dollars on credit cards. Is there a bailout for them. No, because Obama is only interested in helping people with millions of dollars not the poor. He comes from Chicago, do you think he's going to help the black people on the southside? Well, think again. All he wanted was their vote.

mari: I love listening to Rush because he can read between the lines on the dummycrat that people voted in the white house. Obama can now sit back and relax because he has the Clinton administration doing his job as he is president in name only. It must be nice to get waited on. I don't know of any other president that did. Of course those president's knew what to do from day one. What's Obama excuse.

Good grief, Mariann, how old are you? You actually made some valid points, but had to throw several old Republican arguments in there, such as trying to convey that a vastly less experienced candidate is somehow more experienced.

Marianne Pepitone- What are you smoking? Michael Steel has ALOT to learn about politics. President Obama is FAR AHEAD of him. No. Democrats are not afraid of Steele running against Obama, idiot. Remember, he lost his Senate bid in 2006? Anyways, it'll be another 20-30 years till you conservative get a black candidate for president (much worse than Jesse Jackson). Democrats see Steele as a the same-old, same-old–ONLY difference..he's BLACK!

Obama did NOT change his position (back and forth) on Gitmo. Every president has done that executive order on abortion since and including Reagan.

    Idiot. Keep worshipping Rushbo.

Poor thing, when Steele realizes that the Republicans used him just because he's black, he'll have a hard fall. Hope he has a good support network 'cause it won't be pretty!
