WASHINGTON (CNN) – Who says bipartisanship is dead?
Readers of the liberal Web site the Huffington Post have crossed ideological lines and voted Illinois Republican Rep. Aaron Schock the “Hottest Freshman” in the 111th Congress.
At age 27, Schock also has the distinction of being the youngest member of Congress.
Although nearly 10,000 votes were cast in the site’s poll, Schock suggested that he might have gotten some help from some participants who weren’t exactly unbiased. “It’s flattering,” the congressman said in a statement Wednesday. “Apparently my friends and family have a lot of time on their hands.”
Schock hails from Peoria, Illinois and represents the state’s 18th District in the House of Representatives.

I vote this post for "The Lamest Post of The Day". WHO CARES? The Huffington Post must desperately need visitors, to make such a ridiculous poll. Politicians in suits/dresses are all but hot. If you want hot, go to any beach in California, Florida or Mexico. That guy is not hot at all; he's just younger than 99% of his peers, but younger doesn't mean hot. LAME!

And yet another indication of the SIMPLE-MINDEDNESS and INTELLECTUAL IMMATURITY of the common LIBERAL. Let's face it, at least 85% of the women (and probably some men) who voted for Obama, did so because he has a six pack and a generally better-looking physique than McCain. (Who doesn't?) When are we going to grow up in this country and start voting like adults?

I'm from Peoria IL, and Aaron Schock is one of the few good things to come out of this town in the last 10+ years. Lets only hope that he keeps up the good work and keeps some honesty in politics. Yay for youth!
Oh for God's sake – why does everything have to be about partisan politics – the question was "vote for the hotest" – it didn't say "vote for the most intelligent!

Hot or not....he's not enough to save the GOP. At least he's under 30. Its time for the old good ol boys of the GOP to be put out to pasture. Tired of looking at those old wrinkly men.
Schock is from my district. I'm a Democrat, but voted for him because I believed his political schtick... And as a thank you, in one of his very first votes in the US House, he voted against a measure that would help women fight pay discrimination.
Shame on you, Aaron. I'm a female voter who has a long memory...I won't vote for you again.
