JJ start puking because it's very true that Bush's policies and the GOP way of doing business got us into this mess.

Just because he is now an ex-prez doesn't mean that we will forget how bad a president he was. Never listening to the American people, and starting a war he couldn't finish. His tenure at the White house was a very bad time for this country. We will heal eventually but we will never forget.

Congratulations! Who said you can't travel through time! Award the Nobel prize!!!

The prez and his buddies just sucked trillions of dollars out of the next century.

If people in the future invented a time machine they'd come back and slap us all.

As an independent, I gave President Obama a shot, but this is too much. I think it would be better to do NOTHING than this crud. You can move more to a strongly disapprove of his presidency now.

It would be nice if those old fools would stay at home and let the younger people run the country now.

President Obama, Please do not push bipartisan to the point where the Republicans will try to portray you as weak. Their whole modus operandi is based on perception and many of whom shout their support for you today, will turn against you tomorrow because they cannot see your inner strength, and genuine good will.

Why didn't the President write up this stimulus plan?? Why was it left to Pelosi and the other nuts in the House??

Congress writes the bills. The President can only sign them or veto them. He can put it out there, what he would like to see in a bill, but it all starts in the House.

We need a bill that feeds the unemployment and foodstamp funds. One that funds are christian solders and families.

We need people in public office who protect our money using oversite.
we need to have every senator and congressman audited and put out of office where offenses are found. We need term limits for congress and paycuts and benefits cut to the average americans package.

Lets vote them ALL out 3xs in a row and get some new blood.

Stop taxing us so high! Then we can create our own jobs.

"THIS,, will spend this country right into depression. I sure hope all you higly educated people know how to survive without your luxuries."

You obviously do not understand what a depression is. We are in our current position because there is no spending going on whatsoever! No spending, no demand, no production, people get laid off which means even less spending, prices collpase, tax revenue collapses, etc.

Since the private sector cannot and/or will not spend money to stop this downward spiral, the government is trying to become the customer of last resort. If the downward spiral can be broken, hopefully the private sector will take over and bring the economy back up.

What a sad day for our country that our politicians can't step up to the plate and actually put together a plan that will create jobs, stimulate the economy and truly help us recover. This package is so full of nonsense payback spending that our country can't afford right now. ATV trails, STD research, Frisbee golf courses and then there's ACORN. Yep, that's going to do it! How shameful.
