NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) - The "massive overhaul" of the banking bailout will be announced a day later than expected.
Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner was originally scheduled to give full details about the changes to the rescue plan in a speech midday Monday. But the Treasury Department said Sunday that the plan will be announced Tuesday instead, in order for Geithner to focus on the stimulus bill that is being debated in the Senate.
Obviously, you could tax all 300 million Americans, plus Canada, Mexico, and South America, and there still would not be enough "revenue' raised to cover this obscene expenditure.
Once more, we are reminded that taxation is not for raising revenue; they merely print more money to do that. Taxation is for controlling people's behavior and keeping big government in control.
And Geithner knows that. That's why even he doesn't pay taxes.
These parasites should have the good grace to jump out of the windows of their high rises. Clearly they know no shame only entitlement. I am still waiting for the Republicans to call the money that was shoveled down those Bank's gullets an entitlement. Clearly this is not going to happen since Rush (the new head of the GOP) won't allow it.
Unfortunately they will be given more money but I hope this time there will be strict oversight.
