Obama stimulus plan survives key Senate vote

WASHINGTON (CNN) - The Obama administration's $827 billion economic stimulus plan has survived a key vote in the Senate, putting a compromise version of the bill on track for passage Tuesday.

    There is no stimulus here, only spending. With money we don't have.
    Folks this is not a Dem vs. GOP issue, this is the same nonsense the fools in congress have been shoveling for decades. Read the provisions in these "plans" and see for yourselves where the money is going. The only thing being stimulated here are pet pork projects and congressional re-election agenda's. Wake up America!! Demand investment in our country!! Demand congress be accountable!!

    Yo, Hold Up im OK with this as long as it goes well but if it screws us up really bad then that going to be a problem then you can make sure to count me out. but for real i really hope this thing works.

    Isn't that great. I am seriously sick of the stonewalling RNC. It's time for the democrats to just take this and go with it. Enough coddling the repug-licans trying to get bi-parisan support. The democrats are in the majority and they ought to take advantage of it. I think that the government has bent over backwards to work with the repugs and it's time they either stepped up and supported their president or get off turnip truck and quit bothering us with their incessant whining.

    Americans HATE THIS STIMULUS BILL!!!

    Why isn't it have more focus on helping the Housing Crisis?

    Get rid of the political agendas on both sides and focus on helping Americans.
