Bill Ayers has an idea for Palin

Palin highlighted Obama's connection to Bill Ayers during the presidential campaign.
Palin highlighted Obama's connection to Bill Ayers during the presidential campaign.

(CNN) – Sarah Palin once accused Barack Obama of “palling around with terrorists,” a catchphrase intended to highlight Obama’s connection to former Weather Underground member Bill Ayers.

Now that the campaign rhetoric has subsided, Ayers has an idea for a new show starring his Alaskan nemesis.

“I did send her a note after the election,” he says of Palin in the upcoming issue of the New York Times magazine. “I suggested that we have a talk show together called ‘Pallin’ Around With Sarah and Bill.’ I haven’t heard back.”

Ayers assiduously avoided interviews and press attention during the presidential race, but he insists the Obama campaign never told him to keep quiet.

“They apparently didn’t want to call me, and I certainly wouldn’t have initiated it,” he says.

According to Ayers, Obama’s election was “a strike against white supremacy.” But, he says, his victory doesn’t change the fact that “40 percent of black kids under 5 live in poverty.”

He also says that while he considers himself a radical, he believes Obama is “a moderate Democrat.”

“If you look at his record, it’s the record of a moderate, who indeed does know how to make compromises,” Ayers told the magazine.

I'm sure that a LOT of us could come up with "some ideas for Palin."

    Let's see...where should I start........

    Never mind.

    It's not worth the effort.

Palin doesn't have time for him, she's too busy "palling around with drug dealers and dealing with baby mama drama".

  8. CHANGE we need

Sure...and the Repub's anointed one can be labeled as 'palling around with terrorists'....Media may think she is a bimbo, but IM sure she is not that gullible. Roll a ball of tin foil and I highly doubt she would go, "Oh, look, a shiny thing..." and run off.

CNN...give it a rest...you couldnt push Bomber Bill off the scene fast enough to protect BO...push hard and get him off the scene now!!

    Palin Power:

Shouldn't you be charging your discharged battery pack connected to reality? Or are you really disguising yourself as the governor of state that no one respects any longer thanks to your self-promotion and power-grabbing ignorance?

I think she's a little bit too busy covering up scandals back in ALASKA to be considering a talk show.

This is white privilege in action if I've ever seen it. This guy has murdered people, and he gets a cushy job in a university, attends expensive conferences, and gets to become news on CNN. I love how white women keep acting like Palin is a credit to them. You better treat her like black folk are going to treat Michael Steele, like an idiot.

That's funny, I don't know why Obama Invited her to the White House for that dinner, a week ago, or so.....After calling him names, and with all that has happened during the campaign, accussing him of "palling around w/ terrorists" and such, what a scumbag of a Governor !
Why do you think Dolly Parton & that Playboy Gal / & everybody else
and their brother NOW wants to "all of a sudden" get into politics ??
Reason: If "the Bush" & the "Palin" can do it with their 3rd grade education, why not everybody ??

    @Robin,

There are many other people in this country who were in the company of domestic terrorists; yeah, they hang people from trees, shoot teenage atheletes in the and report they committed suicide, shoot young professionals in the chest in the drive way of their own home because they "thought" the suv he drove was stolen; one even accidentallly blew his own head off in Alaska while making a pipe bomb; yeah, America has her share of domestic terrorists, Sarah and Todd Palin really should know.

I'm sure it would be an interesting duo...Palin can surely talk a lot of nonsense, just like what she did in the debate... If she can stand the heat of being the show's mascot.

Let's start the show with the Secessionist movement in Alaska and annexing Russia to America...or if it be willed, her willingness to slice Alaska from the lower states.

This should be fun. Anything she says should be taken with a grain of salt.
