Bill Ayers has an idea for Palin

Palin highlighted Obama's connection to Bill Ayers during the presidential campaign.
Palin highlighted Obama's connection to Bill Ayers during the presidential campaign.

(CNN) – Sarah Palin once accused Barack Obama of “palling around with terrorists,” a catchphrase intended to highlight Obama’s connection to former Weather Underground member Bill Ayers.

Now that the campaign rhetoric has subsided, Ayers has an idea for a new show starring his Alaskan nemesis.

“I did send her a note after the election,” he says of Palin in the upcoming issue of the New York Times magazine. “I suggested that we have a talk show together called ‘Pallin’ Around With Sarah and Bill.’ I haven’t heard back.”

Ayers assiduously avoided interviews and press attention during the presidential race, but he insists the Obama campaign never told him to keep quiet.

“They apparently didn’t want to call me, and I certainly wouldn’t have initiated it,” he says.

According to Ayers, Obama’s election was “a strike against white supremacy.” But, he says, his victory doesn’t change the fact that “40 percent of black kids under 5 live in poverty.”

He also says that while he considers himself a radical, he believes Obama is “a moderate Democrat.”

“If you look at his record, it’s the record of a moderate, who indeed does know how to make compromises,” Ayers told the magazine.

As long as people keep reading and commenting about this hateful idiot, then she's going to keep taking the spotlight. She still thinks she's in the running for president, and no matter how much we want her to just go away and shut up, it's never going to happen unless everyone starts ignoring her. Palin's just too dam* stupid to realize what an absolute joke she is. President in 2012??? Are you kidding me? And that drug addicted gas bag Limbaugh will keep up his hateful blather too as long as he keeps getting attention. And Limbaugh actually thinks President Obama is "frightened of me"....hahahhaha. Amazing!

Sarah Palin is a foot soldier in the REPUBLICAN TALIBAN, a fringe group that spreads hate and intolerance. They (politically) murder those in their group that dont agree with their views, and keep the others in line through fear. THAT is domestic terrorism

I guess Bill would be the intelligent one and Sarah would be the dumb air-head. I think that's how those shows go.

Palin Power – You can't be serious, right?

Forget the talk show. They should do a WWE pay-per-view cage match special, 'Caribou Barbie vs.the Repentant Anarchist'.

Rules: Palin is allowed to use a sharpened moose horn; Ayers gets a tube of lipstick.

Declaring a winner: If Ayers is able to put lipstick on the pig before she guts and dresses him, he wins. If Palin doesn't wink, or say the word 'also' during the event she wins. 'You betcha'!

Palin will become President Palin in 2012-2021 and will be America's GREATEST President of ALL TIMES! She will usher in Palinomics which will save the world from a global depression and will bring in the most glorious, golden, and prosperous age in America, even greater than Reaganomics and Clintonomics.

Jindal is a Muslim...I guess that is okay with the Republicans.

Sarah was talking to him and the first thing I could think was OMG, Sarah palling around with a Muslim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These Republicans are soooo hypocritical. I love the post that are for her on here. She reads these blogs you know. I think it is her and her family blogging. Surely not the starving and freezing Alaskan Native Americans.

    Her state is in turmoil.

Sarah Palin? Bill Ayers? Such irrelevant personalities to discuss at a time when America is practically in a woeful economic crisis! Maybe we need to focus on how not to run a Bush-Cheney America!

Well now we know that Bill Ayers has a sense of humor (:

Also know this, in the seventies we called him an urban guerilla who blew up buildings, not people; not like terrorists of now who target people and use people to blow themselves up. And more than thirty years later we give him and the Weather Underground far more heft than they had in the seventies.

People please read some history that gives the real lowdown on the seventies as they were, not by misapplying now to then.

He wasn't ever convicted of anything. He's moved on and in so doing made some noteworthy positive contributions; let us do the same.

I can't wait to vote for Governor Sarah Palin in the 2012 Republican Primary and the 2012 Presidential Election. Go Sarah!

I am glad to see Bill kept his sense of humor after what Sarah did to him. In America, you are innocent until proven guilty and, even if convicted, you have the opportunity to build yourself a better life after you have been relieved of any charges.

Why do we hate Sarah Palin?
It;s easy. She represents everything that's wrong with the GOP. And while there are a few morons willing to push her forward as some kind of GOP savior the answer is that we just love to hear her open her mouth in order to change feet.

Dear Sweet Sarah have you never heard the phrase.

    'Living down to our expectations.'

The Republicans, since after Bush and Company have no credibility anyway, push this idiot forward because they know they can deflect anyone looking too closely while they regroup for 2020.

When this stimulus package works, which it will, the Republicans are going to look really stupid, which is why I say. "Enjoy the political wilderness along with your idealogical grade 4 loser Sarah Palin."

Both have done reprehensible things. The only real difference is that Ayers isn't trying to legislate the lives of other people. A talk show wouldn't work though, because neither would be able to understand a word the other said.

Palin Power: Are you for real? Sarah Palin couldn't even tell mild-mannered Katie Couric what newspapers she reads ... Palin is an intellectual pigmy and would be just another puppet for the likes of Karl Rove and Grover Norquist, the architects behind the mess our country is in. The only thing Palin would usher in is an economic disaster that would make our current situation look like a picnic!

I read that article too. Seems she doesn't care about the people in her own state. It's a shame.

Early winter caused the whole situation - cut their fishing etc. short and a lot of human beings will die.

Maybe if they drill for more oil Sarah and her Meth friends will have money to buy groceries.
