Gregg: 'I'm sure' I upset the White House

(CNN) - New Hampshire Sen. Judd Gregg acknowledged the White House is likely upset with him because he did not vote on the stimulus bill.

“I’m sure that’s true," Gregg said, adding he decided not vote for the White House-backed measure “because I gave my word to people.”

JUDD GREGG did not vote............ BECAUSE HE GAVE HIS
    WORD TO PEOPLE?

What does this tell us about the man Judd Gregg?

He would throw his country under the bus, before he breaks with
his fellow REPUBLICANS, and then he makes excuses for not
taking the position in the Obama Administration! His claim that
he did not agree with the Census being moved to the White House
had absolutely nothing to do with his decision, he was just one
of the many who are SCARED to go against the Republican Party!

WOW! WHAT A STAND UP AMERICAN
    THIS GUY IS!........................NOT!

NO Judd. You upset the American People who were expecting you to be more concerned about stopping the posturing and gridlock that has hampered our government for the last 30 years and work with a President who is reaching across the ailse (yes that means that sometimes you may not get everything you want or have all the power in your hand). Believe me, The White House will get over it, quickly. American voters (who already overwhelmingly reject Republican strategies of the past) may not forget so easily. You may not run again, but your collegues will need every vote they can get. Thanks a lot.

Gregg shouldn't worry. Obama is upset that reality has set in and that someone actually called him on it.

    OH PUHLEEEZE....enough with the BS.

Gregg is nothing but a spineless excuse for a man. He behaved like a disgraceful coward after having campaigned for the JOB in the first place. He went so far as to make a deal for the JOB. This man is NOT qualified to be Commerce Secretary, he's NOT even qualified as a Senator. This is gonna cost him big time come 2010.

So this whole foolishness is just so retarded on all levels. It only proves that Gregg is a TRUE REPUBLICAN, one who is terrified of stepping into a JOB that requires him to actually WORK!!! That's unknown to the Republicans. They scream and holler about anything and yet manage to do absolutely NOTHING. It's incredible that a party can be so severely incompetent and deaf toned all at the same time.

Judd Gregg knows good and well, this is NOT surprising to anyone that he behaved in such a cowardly fashion, least of all President Obama. President Obama knows exactly WHAT he's dealing with when it comes to the GOP. He's stated before that the GOP lack credibility after 8 years of a DO-NOTHING Party!!

I say GOOD RIDDANCE, if he can't stand the heat, then he should crawl back into his girlie hole.

One can not infer he wishes the failure of the administration based upon any published fact. All statements by Mr. Gregg and the Mr. Obama's administration cite differences of opinion. Both sides have handled the departure in a professional manner so far.

It's so amazing to see that some right wing nut republicans senators or congress man and women that oppose this bill has no background in economics, never study economics and they are listening to red necks nuts like limbaugh and hannity who by the way also doesn't have a clue about macro or micro economics.
Even the most conservative chamber of commerce in USA (They have the most qualified and respected economists) is backing this stimulus package.
The nobel price of economics in 2008 Paul Krugman is saying the package is too small. Do you think they give out Nobel price to retarded people?
Let me put it this way, it's just like refusing to take swimming lessons from michael phelps before the olympics. How sputid is that?
I just don't get it. Is ideologism means stupidity? I have not seen that in the dictionnary.
What is also pathetic is that the same right wing nuts are loosing their jobs and homes all arround the country and they still didn't get it yet.
Do some people really have a brain?
I am 100% for reinstatement for the educational fund in the package and it should be mostly given to so called "Red States". They need that so bad.

I am sure that was his intention – to upset the White House – but our President is the Eternal Optimist and I am sure he knows that the best way to solve a situation is to not get upset, but focus on a solution rather than the problem.

Therein lies the difference between most Democrats and Republican. Republicans point out the stain in the carpet; Democrats roll up their sleeves and start working on cleaning the stain.

Good bye Sen. Judd...we have much to clean after 8 years of your team's staining our country.

We now have the facts to support that neither political party has the maturity and character to act in the country's best interests while holding a majority.

I offer all the negative posts on both sides of the political spectrum as evidence.
