(CNN) - New Hampshire Sen. Judd Gregg acknowledged the White House is likely upset with him because he did not vote on the stimulus bill.
“I’m sure that’s true," Gregg said, adding he decided not vote for the White House-backed measure “because I gave my word to people.”

This man is NOT qualified to be Commerce Secretary, he's NOT even qualified as a Senator. This is gonna cost him big time come 2010.
So this whole foolishness is just so retarded on all levels. It only proves that Gregg is a TRUE REPUBLICAN, one who is terrified of stepping into a JOB that requires him to actually WORK!!! One can not infer he wishes the failure of the administration based upon any published fact. All statements by Mr. Gregg and the Mr. Obama's administration cite differences of opinion. Both sides have handled the departure in a professional manner so far.
It's so amazing to see that some right wing nut republicans senators or congress man and women that oppose this bill has no background in economics, never study economics and they are listening to red necks nuts like limbaugh and hannity who by the way also doesn't have a clue about macro or micro economics.
Even the most conservative chamber of commerce in USA (They have the most qualified and respected economists) is backing this stimulus package.
The nobel price of economics in 2008 Paul Krugman is saying the package is too small. Do you think they give out Nobel price to retarded people?

I am 100% for reinstatement for the educational fund in the package and it should be mostly given to so called "Red States". They need that so bad.
I am sure that was his intention – to upset the White House – but our President is the Eternal Optimist and I am sure he knows that the best way to solve a situation is to not get upset, but focus on a solution rather than the problem.
Therein lies the difference between most Democrats and Republican. Republicans point out the stain in the carpet; Democrats roll up their sleeves and start working on cleaning the stain.
