Gregg: 'I'm sure' I upset the White House

(CNN) - New Hampshire Sen. Judd Gregg acknowledged the White House is likely upset with him because he did not vote on the stimulus bill.

“I’m sure that’s true," Gregg said, adding he decided not vote for the White House-backed measure “because I gave my word to people.”

This should prove to President Obama that bipartisanship is overrated. The American people overwhelming voted for President Obama and the Democrats and he needs to treat the Republicans the same way that George W treated the Democrats- like nothing. Do not pander to the Republicans- they lost!!!! I hope the President learns.

Republicans are going down! The American people see right through your so called idealogies (BS). Everyone knows you want Pres. Obama to fail the country. Rush told us so. But it will backfire in your faces. You will go so low to even create some the mess to win in the next elections. But you will lose, the American will not vote for you.

    America Last Republicans strike again.

This pitiful troll LOBBIES for the job, watches for all of ONE WEEK and says "It became clear to me to me that it would be very difficult day in and day out to serve in this Cabinet."

He almost started thinking for himself and putting the country first, then he remembered he was a Republican.

  10. The people of America

Gregg and his fellow free trade enthusiasts are a disgrace to America and should be charged with treason. The U.S. Chamber of commerce should also be charged with treason for its stance on trade and giving away American jobs to illegals and visa workers.

So...he lobbied for the job, then was taken to the wood shed by the GOP headshed. No quicker way of losing one's spine....it's a miracle Boehner, Cantor, McConnel et al can stand upright.

On Lincoln's birthday celebration...............the man who believed in the "team of rivals".............I find this man's resignation on this day to be contrived and shallow. A deliberate attempt to try an undermind our President's efforts for America's betterment. I say everyday, thank God this old "white" gal left the Republican party. If you want transparency, just watch as the GOP again pulls more and more out of their deflated hats as they try to survive. I won't have any of it folks. Good Riddance Mr. Jelly back.

I am not surprised that Gregg "May not run for re-election". His character is so damaged by this kowtowing to his Republican party leaders that he commands no respect from either party now, and his constituency will be shocked and dismayed at his rubber spine. Yes, it's defenitly time for him to take his marbles and run to the Bahamas where some of the folks may not have heard of him. New Hampshire deserves better.

Thank You Mr. Gregg for not joining the comedy of errors that is the Obama administration. With Geithner, Daschle, Richardson and all the rest of the crooks you would have certainly tarnished your image. Now that Rahm the dual citizen Emanuel has stolen the census you did the only thing a reasonable person could do. Trying to steal elections by manipulating the census will be hard for even the Chicago thugs currently in office. So much for transparency.

  19. COUNTRY FIRST

Is this what Republicans meant with "COUNTRY FIRST"? If so, now country needs you – if you are a true American servant, get your gloves on and serve your people in this bad economical times.

Typical Republican: talk talk talk talk talk...but when it comes to action WITHDRAW AND HIDE!!

As far as I am concerned, republicans such as Gregg should move into Guantanamo Bay and leave our nation. The olive branch that was offered shows his true colors. America no longer needs political turn coats and continued political manipulation. I am a moderate republican and the party makes me sick. I voted for no republican. WE ARE THE PEOPLE and it is time for all of you ( republicans ) to get behind the President and get on with solving eight years of failed policy and politics that has been left behind. GIVE THE PRESIDENT A CHANCE TO DO AND DELIVER THE "MAJORITY WILL " OF THE PEOPLE!!! Do you get it yet republicans?
