WASHINGTON (CNN) - President Obama issued a statement early Friday, saying he and his wife were "deeply saddened" over last night's deadly plane crash outside Buffalo.
"Our hearts go out to the families and friends who lost loved ones," the statement said. "We pray for all those who have been touched by this terrible tragedy to find peace and comfort in the hard days ahead."

There was a fire station located down the street from the crash, which allowed rescue crews to reach the scene quickly. Two firefighters suffered smoke inhalation and other minor injuries trying to extinguish the massive blaze.
"I want to thank the brave first responders who arrived immediately to try and save lives and who are continuing to ensure the safety of everyone in the area," the Obama statement said.

After the "Hudson Miracle" in Jan. '09, this was a rude bolt from the blue. May the departed souls rest in peace and may the Lord bestow strength and bravery on the relatives of those deceased.
Does CNN really need to track every since thing that Obama says? This isn't a dig on Obama since any half-way decent people would be saddened by this, but CNN is deliberately cluttering the political ticker with non-stimulus posts.
Hats off to the brave firefighters. They make up part of the heart of the USA, bravery in the face of danger.

This crash seems very suspicious to me because of who was on that plane. A 9/11 conspiracy advocate. What caused this crash anyway? Doesn't seem to be any reports on that yet.
Who was in Control of the Flight? Did Pilot "change-over of controls," too late?

no words in the whole universe can lessen the pain of those who lost loved ones. What anyone can only do is to say how terrible we feel, how sorry we are...how sad we are....
I feel for all those who suffer, even when it is not possible to lessen the pain....
