McCain blacklists The View?

The view co-hosts grilled McCain in September.

(CNN) – Sen. John McCain just may have blacklisted the hit talk-show The View after a heated, somewhat confrontational, appearance on the program last September.

According to Barbara Walters, the show's creator and co-host, McCain told her at a recent Washington event he won't be appearing on the daily gabfest "any time soon."

"He had been on The View and was not very happy," Walters told a gathering at Syracuse University, according to Portfolio.com. "And when we walked out and I saw him I said, 'Senator, so nice to see you. I hope you'll come on The View again.' And he looked at me and said, 'Not anytime soon.'”

Appearing on the program at the height of his campaign for the White House, McCain was aggressively pressed on Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's qualifications to be vice president, as well as negative campaign ads that several independent fact-checks had called downright misleading.

Walters specifically challenged Palin's reformist credentials, noting McCain has served in Washington for more than two decades and asking repeatedly, "Who's she going to reform, you?"

The Arizona senator is not the only member of the family who may have sour feelings toward the show. McCain's wife Cindy, after a contentious fall appearance of her own, declared that the co-hosts "picked our bones clean."

Seems McCain doesn't want to be challenged at all. If he can't handle a fluff piece showing on a program like The View, how did he expect to handle the WH?

Oh well - if you can't take the heat (which McCain obviously cannot) stay out of the kitchen!

They didn't ask him anything people weren't wondering about at that time. All legitimate questions - he just doesn't like being called on his mistakes.

I'm not sure why anyone cares about this, but this seems either a tacit admission that McCain was pandering during the campaign and doesn't feel like he has to anymore or he resents people who try to challenge him publicly (and the View folks probably aren't the most hard-core critics he has out there).

McCain is absolutely justifiedin his attitude towards The View.
The ladies were totally inappropriate in the interview they conducted.
They didn't behave like professionals – they behaved like Obama
operatives. McCain should have walked off the set.

What do you think? He likes people like John King who like to stick it to Obama by the way they ask questions and discuss issues. CNN do not ask tough questions except do inuendos and suggestive in their questioning. Only the women on the view and comedians know how to ask tough questions. The media couldn't be anymore bias.

Senator McCain only went on the view because he thought that it would help his presidential bid. Because it did not now he wants to blame them for his incompetence.

Mccain is an irrelevant dinosaur. He was the worse candidate since Michael Dukakis. If the idiotic electorate was the least bit informed we would have elected Mitt Romney as president and their would be real solutions to the problems we are facing. Instead we have the most unqualified man to ever hold the presidency, who cannot even pick a cabinet, running around lowering expectations to the point where if any of us is are still alive in 4 years, it will look like he truly was the Messiah his handlers told us he was. They say a country gets the government they deserve, but nobody deserves what we have!!!!!!

Let me guess what kind of comments are coming from liberals: McCain is just bitter that he lost. The outcome of the election is what it is. McCain could have won and it still wouldn't change the fact that Walters and her gang had a very obvious bias in their questioning. If you don't believe it, go back and read the transcript, then compare it to the types of questions that were asked of Obama.
