McCain blacklists The View?

The view co-hosts grilled McCain in September.

(CNN) – Sen. John McCain just may have blacklisted the hit talk-show The View after a heated, somewhat confrontational, appearance on the program last September.

According to Barbara Walters, the show's creator and co-host, McCain told her at a recent Washington event he won't be appearing on the daily gabfest "any time soon."

"He had been on The View and was not very happy," Walters told a gathering at Syracuse University, according to Portfolio.com. "And when we walked out and I saw him I said, 'Senator, so nice to see you. I hope you'll come on The View again.' And he looked at me and said, 'Not anytime soon.'”

Appearing on the program at the height of his campaign for the White House, McCain was aggressively pressed on Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's qualifications to be vice president, as well as negative campaign ads that several independent fact-checks had called downright misleading.

Walters specifically challenged Palin's reformist credentials, noting McCain has served in Washington for more than two decades and asking repeatedly, "Who's she going to reform, you?"

The Arizona senator is not the only member of the family who may have sour feelings toward the show. McCain's wife Cindy, after a contentious fall appearance of her own, declared that the co-hosts "picked our bones clean."

McCain is just mad that the hosts of the View pulled back the curtain on his Vice Presidential Nominee and his own hypocrisy. Politicians can't stand it when we see them for who they really are. For McCain he won't go on the View, because he can't handle it. They represent a type of journalism that is beyond his skill level.

Can't stand the heat, best for McCain to stay out of the kitchen. If he couldn't handle the ladies on The View, he could no way have handled being President of The United States.

So much for the has-beens family McCain.Barbara has seen his type come and go and now McCain should get the message and just go and take that never-was Palin to the bone-yard with him!

McCain was stupid to go that show to begin with.

I have to doubt any woman that says she is for the children and then says its ok to abort them. This show needs to be aborted.

    Fakes!

He lost. He lost on his own. The View has a view, hence the name of the show. Elisabeth is the only person on The View that needs to get lost. She can go to the Faux network and John can visit her. She is into rubber stamping instead of asking the hard questions to neocons.
I don't think McCain can hurt The View.

The view is a very radical show. Somehow it promotes women takeover of the world.

John and Cindy McCain are a couple of crybabies. I wanted to know the details about Palin's reformist credentials and why McCain decided to flood the media with so many negative campaign ads that were verified by several different sources as being misleading.

Ms Bahare is so liberal and takes every opportunity to talk over the other "View" conservative member. She also inserts her opinions "when a guest is speaking " just to "joke" and read her pre-fabricated put downs. Her voice is soooo loud and her smirk is so teling of her sociopathic ways. Obviously Barbara condones these behaviors,. Thank God that Woppi moderates well , because most sane people want to turn the chanel. I"ve done it dozens of times.

McCain dishonored himself when he suspended his campaign to fly back to DC and vote yes on pork barrel spending. That was the day
he lost all credibility as a fiscal conservative and a man of honor!

How on earth could John McCain expect to interact with world leaders if he were president if he can't even manage to sit with a few American ladies for a casual conversation?

John, I think we all see that you were in way over your head!

Barbara Walters, in a typically gracioius fashion, extended an invitation to John McCain, and typically for him, he bears a grudge over a question posed to him for which he had no answer. In my "view," Sen. McCain won't be missed.
