(CNN) – U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived in Indonesia Wednesday on the second stop of her tour of Asia - her first trip abroad as America's top diplomat.
She's expected to huddle with Foreign Minister Hassan Wirayuda Wednesday evening before meeting with President Bambang Yudhoyono the following morning.
Clinton will "discuss the close and growing partnership with Indonesia and perspectives on common interests in Southeast Asia," according to the State Department Web site.
She began her trip in Japan, where she met with Prime Minister Taro Aso, as well as the foreign and defense ministers.
Clinton left for Asia Sunday and is also slated to travel to China and South Korea to discuss a range of issues, including mutual economic recovery, trade, the prevention of nuclear weapons proliferation and reversing global warming.

Congratulations Hillary – we love you in California!
P.S. Sarah Palin – watch and learn from Hillary Clinton – this is how SMART women in politics perform.
We're proud of you. Going Global!
Hillary, may you be blessed with safe travels as you go afar to do the works of goodwill for our nation.
even though OUR BANKS and WALL STREET tried to destroy AMERICA, i hope Hillary can convince these other countries that we want to have a good relationship with them.
Eight more years of free vacations.
Go Hillary!
Look at that! Per Obama's lead, Hillary is already in Pakistan taking care of our biggest problems, the Talebon.
Oh, wait minute...
I'm glad Hill is going to Asia. Japan, China, Korea and India (though she isn't visiting india on this trip) are key economic partners in rebuilding a world economy. I think we all need to take a break from borrowing and spending and look for ways that together we can reduce government spending and increase private economic investment and growth. The growth may be slower but it would be real, not based on too much borrowing. I hope that Hillary can talk frankly with our allies in Asia to get this accomplished.
I am democrat, but I have to ask is there any snipper fire? Quick, run for cover!
